Charlotte Douglas International Airport (“CLT”) intends to post an Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) for the rehabilitation of Runway 18L/36R and Taxiway D design. The scope of this work to be designed will include but is not limited to asphalt milling, paving, airfield electrical work, and pavement makings.

Central Kilborne Norland Intersection & Street Upgrade
Project limits are from just south of Evergreen Cemetery Dr to about 400’ south of Central Ave at Kilborne Dr on Norland Rd (0.43 miles). The project includes a shared-use path on one side of the street, storm drainage, water line work, and 2 Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs).

The City’s Finance Department is interested in seeking proposals for a Service Provider (or Service Providers) to support the City’s needs for Investment Custodian and Trustee Services with a multi-year agreement. The City’s investment and debt programs are managed by the Treasury Division of the Finance Department. The City’s Consolidated Investment Pool is part of its daily operations and is invested under North Carolina G.S.159-30 and 159-31. Investments in this portfolio are managed with the objectives of safety, liquidity and return, in that order and typically have daily settlement activity. These investments are executed by delivery vs. payment (DVP) and held by the third-party trust custodian.

Integrated Marketing and Communications Agency of Record
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is seeking the assistance of a full-service marketing and public relations firm or firms that can assist with general marketing, communications, public relations, crisis communications and/or special events. Some of the tasks or projects will require time commitments that cannot be accommodated quickly in-house due to day-to-day responsibilities, limited resources, and other pressing deadlines. Other tasks or projects may require more specialized services, which the in-house team cannot provide.
CATS anticipates that a variety of Marketing & Communications services will be required during the given contract timeframe. Attendance at CATS staff and board meetings, public/stakeholder group meetings, and other planning support services meetings may be required. The Consultant(s) should have experience and be prepared to assist in disciplines to include but not limited to: strategic and targeted marketing, graphic design, website design and/or management, photography, social media, public relations and affairs, crisis
communications, copywriting, script development for radio or television promotional commercials, media placement, branding, printing, and/or special events.

Chemical Grouting
Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT) is committed to enhancing the driving, bicycling, and walk experience through planning, operating, and maintaining the City’s transportation choices for residents and visitors. An important component in the operation and maintenance of the transportation network is the maintenance of storm drainage systems and subsurface soils. The city has more than 3,800 miles of drainage pipe and over 150,000 associated inlets, outfalls and other systems. The Street Maintenance Division of CDOT serves as maintenance providers for much of this system in the right of way. Chemical grouting provides a repair and maintenance method that is less disruptive than typical excavation methods. The services generally consist of the provision of as-needed CHEMICAL GROUTING on storm water pipes, collars, subsurface voids and other areas as appropriate.

WT Harris SUP (JW Clay to N Tryon)
A 12’ wide shared-use path will be installed along WT Harris Blvd, from JW Clay Blvd to N Tryon St. This includes pedestrian ramps, storm drain services, and new pavement markings in addition to the shared-use path. Project Length = 0.33 miles.

Old Concord Road Shared-Use Path (Meadow Vista to Arlyn Cir)
This project will construct a shared-use path along the west side of Old Concord Road from Meadow Vista Road to Arlyn Circle. Construction of driveway improvements and wheelchair ramps are included in this scope. The construction of the shared-use path will help to improve safety and walking conditions for citizens along this minor thoroughfare. This project will also connect several miles of pedestrian walkways within this area. Old Concord Road Shared-Use Path is considered a high priority project based on CDOT’s sidewalk Priority list and was requested by the residents and business owners in the area. Improvements for Charlotte Water are also included in the project scope. Project Length= .85 miles.
Charlotte Storm Water Services / Construction
Blackmon Storm Drainage Improvement Project
This project involves analysis of existing conditions to determine portions of the storm drainage system needing improvement, planning analysis of improvement alternatives, and design and construction of needed improvements.
The Blackmon Street Storm Drainage Improvement Project is bordered by Sampson Street to the north, Hoskins Road to the south, Ridgeley Drive to the east, and Sampson Street.
The need for this project was identified through citizen reported drainage requests including road flooding and complaints of finished floor (structure) flooding.
The purpose of the project will be to improve the storm drainage infrastructure to reduce flooding of streets and structures.
A. The Aviation Department of the City of Charlotte, North Carolina (Owner) proposes to purchase a number of new 100-ton, 90-ton, 60-ton, 45-ton, 30-ton and 20-ton Preconditioned Air Units (PCAir) for the Charlotte Douglas International Airport.1. The Contractor’s scope of work for this project will be to supply the PCAir units, factory tested and crated for storage by the Owner. The Contractor will also provide training, initial start-up support, warranty support and some maintenance accessories, as defined within this Specification.
2. The Owner will be responsible for installation of the PCAir units, including any electrical or mechanical infrastructure modifications required for the Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) or any electrical service upgrades required to provide the necessary power to the face of the terminal building.
3. The Owner will be responsible to procure and install the necessary accessories (hoses, adaptors, couplers, swivels, baskets, reels, straps, elbows, mounting materials and hardware) required to provide preconditioned air from the PCAir unit to the aircraft and / or PBB pre-cool plenum.
