The project involves analysis of existing conditions to determine portions of the storm drainage system needing improvement, and design and construction of needed improvements. The existing storm system experienced a pipe collapse due to poor condition of the pipe. To address the request and meet level of service design standards the project will remove and replace the existing Storm Drainage Infrastructure within the project scope.
Proposed improvements include removing approximately 343 LF of 18″ storm water pipe and replace with approximately 410 LF of 24″ storm water pipe, add 2 double catch basins and associated items, and remove and replace approximately 357 LF of 8″ sewer pipe, and 3 sewer manholes.

These vehicles are used primarily by the Vice and Narcotics and Gang Units in the specialized undercover investigations. The City of Charlotte provides direct traffic control and logistical Support for the Spectrum Center which is host to an estimated 125 sporting, music, business, and other events each year. The City is interested in receiving proposals for this service. The awarded Company shall be the sole provider of traffic control services for the Spectrum Center and designated areas around the Spectrum Center. The Company shall provide all personnel, and traffic control equipment to implement the Traffic Control Plan for the safe operation of vehicles and pedestrians. The Company shall be responsible for the storage, retrieval, set up, and immediate removal of all traffic control equipment from City owned rights -of-way following the events. On-site presence is required for the duration of the event.

This project will address the non-conforming, physical ADA barriers to the greatest extent feasible and where applicable under code provisions. Phase 2 includes the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center and adjacent Parking Garage.  Scope areas include Exterior Plaza, Entrance Lobby, 2nd Floor Mezzanine and the 15-story Highrise. Specific scope includes, but is not limited to, Partitions, Doors and Door Hardware, Ramps, Millwork, Restrooms, Controlled Access, Obstructions, Plaza Deck and Accessible Routes. The project delivery method is Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR).  The CMAR will commence with CBI outreach ~3rd qtr 2025 and trade partner pre-qualification ~4th qtr 2025.
