Chatham Storm Drainage Improvement Project
The purpose and need for this construction project is to improve the storm drainage infrastructure (i.e. pipe systems and culverts) to reduce flooding and to enhance degraded stream reaches to reduce erosion and improve water quality. This project is under review. Location and project details will be provided after review is complete.

Bridge Repairs
This project involves repairing bridge structures in various locations within the city limits. This work shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to repair noted structures. Work includes but not limited to: concrete pavement repairs, asphalt surface sealing / repair / replacement, debris removal, soil / erosion repairs, bridge substructure / superstructure repairs, expansion joint repair / replacement, barrier rail repairs, guardrail repairs, cleaning and painting bridge structures, sealing concrete wearing surface, culvert repairs, and repairs as deemed necessary by the engineer; removing, containment and disposal of existing materials; seeding and mulching all grassed areas disturbed; all incidental items necessary to complete the project as specified and shown on the Bridge Structures Repair Details and Drawings.

Edgewater/Rosecrest Storm Drainage Improvement Project
The purpose and need for this construction project is to improve the storm drainage infrastructure (i.e. pipe systems and culverts) to reduce flooding and to enhance degraded stream reaches to reduce erosion and improve water quality. This project is bordered by Rama Road to the north, McAlpine Creek to the south, Monroe Road to the east and Burlwood Road to the west. The drainage system consists of open channel and closed pipe systems underneath City maintained roads. This was previously identified as a major capital project from the watershed ranking prioritization process with a score of 54 of 100. The ranking protocol identifies 30 structures that experience flooding in the 100-year storm event and 16 roads that experience transverse overtopping events that do not meet current standards. A holistic project is needed to cost beneficially address the drainage system issues.
