The scope of this project will include 0.34 miles of new 6ft wide concrete sidewalk, driveway improvements, and wheelchair ramps on Lawyers Rd from Chestnut Lake Dr to Harri Ann Dr.

The City requires qualified service providers to work in conjunction with the City’s Fleet Management staff to perform complete turnkey collision repairs and related services on city fleet and Mecklenburg County vehicles. Collision repairs may include but are not limited to paint and body work, frame, cooling systems, engine components, transmission, steering, and related part repairs or replacement.

This project will build bike facilities in several different locations throughout the Elizabeth neighborhood to create safer conditions and improve ease of travel for cyclists and pedestrians, including approximately 2.1 miles of sharrows, modernization of two existing rectangular rapid flashing beacons, replacement of 10 wheelchair ramps, a new pedestrian crossing at Pecan Avenue and Shenandoah Avenue, implementation of new bike detection cameras, a new full traffic signal at Bascom Street and 7th Street, and a curb extension located at the intersection of Pecan Avenue and 8th Street.

Micromobility technology solutions to assist in analyzing and managing shared mobility devices within Charlotte’s right-of-way.

Technology solutions to assist the Charlotte team in creating a digital inventory of the Uptown Charlotte curbs and deploying intelligent sensor-based infrastructure to assess curb usage and demands.

Curbside Management technology solutions to assist in creating a digital inventory of the Uptown Charlotte curb, analyze and monitor the curb, and/or deploy intelligent sensor-based infrastructure to assess curb usage and demands.

The Consultant shall prepare technical plans and specifications for the required repairs to the City’s bridges per the Inspection Reports. The Consultant shall schedule completion dates for each bridge. Before the beginning of the next inspection cycle, all bridge repairs should be completed by the contractor.

The Consultant shall prepare two (2) bid documents (including one for guardrail work).  Each shall include the technical plans and specifications for the bid packages for each bridge, as well as bid information/requirements for potential contractors.

Handheld license plate recognition device and associated software to automatically capture license plate information and associated data to determine compliance with paid or permitted parking.

The purpose and need for this construction project is to improve the storm drainage infrastructure (i.e. pipe systems and culverts) to reduce flooding and to enhance degraded stream reaches to reduce erosion and improve water quality.  This project is under review.  Location and project details will be provided after review is complete.
