This project will provide new sidewalk along Sardis Road North from Sardis Road to westernmost intersection of Rittenhouse Circle and Sardis Road North.

Facilities generally include headworks, flow equalization basins, primary clarifiers, and gravity thickeners. A facilities evaluation, conducted by the design team, will determine the final scope of work.

This project will construct a pedestrian bridge over I-277 to connect South End to Uptown. The bridge will be located just west of the existing light rail bridge and will include aesthetic elements to create a signature design. It will also include a new pedestrian rail crossing on the Morehead landing area and will tie the Stonewall plaza into the existing light rail platform.

Based on repair needs identified in Inspection Reports, the Consultant shall prepare technical plans and specifications (“Construction Documents”) for the required repairs to the City’s bridges. The Consultant shall prepare two (2) bid documents (including one for guardrail work) that shall include the technical
plans and specifications for the bid packages for each bridge, as well as bid information/requirements for potential contractors. The Consultant shall plan completion dates for each bridge so that all bridge repairs will be completed by the contractor before the beginning of the next inspection cycle.

The City is seeking a qualified provider for repairing and coordinating the repair of damage from collisions comprised of over 100 makes and models of fire equipment including engines, ladder trucks, special operations equipment, and support apparatus.
