Traffic Signal Detection Equipment Evaluation
The Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT) maintains more than 950 traffic signals. Many are equipped with advanced detection technologies to detect all types of roadway users. Over the years, CDOT has used a variety of detection equipment and now seeks to upgrade and standardize detection equipment across the city. The City of Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide advanced detection technology and assist with its installation at designated intersections. This effort supports a comparative analysis to identify the most suitable detection solution for the City. The selected detection systems must
reliably identify all roadway users, including vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, and scooters.

HVAC System Services
The Company shall provide inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair services for HVAC systems to Charlotte Water. Services shall be comprehensive of all tasks necessary to ensure HVAC systems maintain operational status at their established capacity and efficiency. Unless otherwise specified herein or by Charlotte Water in writing, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards shall be followed, including reference to capacity and efficiency ratings.
Charlotte Water has several different types and sizes of HVAC systems located throughout Mecklenburg County. Charlotte Water may award to multiple companies to fulfill all needs.

Fleet Towing Services
The city’s Fleet Management division provides maintenance services for vehicles and special equipment for city departments and Mecklenburg County. Towing services are needed to transport and recover disabled vehicles and special equipment, provide support to the city as needed during inclement weather, and assist during special events. Services will be provided for various types of vehicles and equipment, including, but not limited to: sedans, SUVs, medium – and heavy-duty trucks, fire apparatus, police cars, and construction equipment.

Charlotte Water Traffic Control Services
Charlotte Water will be requesting proposals from experienced and qualified companies to provide scheduled traffic control services, as a result of planned/scheduled water and sanitary sewer construction performed by Charlotte Water and in the event of an unplanned/unscheduled immediate emergency within the area, such as a water main break or an emergency resulting from a natural disaster.
Maintenance of water and sanitary sewer infrastructure requires safely guiding traffic through active work zones, lane closures, and other situations while protecting Charlotte Water staff, residents, and equipment during the work activity or closure. This includes the placement and removal of traffic control devices by qualified personnel, as well as flagging of traffic. Services shall include the provision of all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to safely route traffic through Charlotte Water work zones or event areas.
Companies will be required, at the minimum, to perform the following:
Companies must have the ability to provide traffic control services on an as needed basis, 24/7/365, within the limits of Mecklenburg County.

Charlotte Water will be requesting proposals from experienced and qualified companies to provide various tree and vegetation removal services, as a result of water and sanitary sewer construction performed by Charlotte Water, as an after-hour/holiday/weekend emergency service, and in the event of an immediate disaster emergency within the area, such as a natural disaster.
Companies will be required, at the minimum, to perform the following:

This opportunity involves providing survey services to support Charlotte Water’s GIS and Capacity Assurance Programs, including the following tasks:
Review available data and consult with the City to clarify and define the City’s requirements.
Obtain necessary information, conduct investigations, and make reasonable efforts for the Surveyor to become familiar with the philosophy and purpose of each project.
Identify and analyze requirements from governmental authorities with jurisdiction and assist the City in obtaining the required approvals.

McAlpine Creek WWMF Digester Rehab Dewatering Services
The McAlpine Creek Wastewater Management Facility (WWMF) digesters are critical infrastructure at the WWTP, which provide environmental stabilization of solids prior to being removed from the site for final disposal. The effectiveness and performance of the digesters and their associated equipment, piping, and valves are negatively impacted by trash, grit, etc. that has accumulated in the tanks. The McAlpine Creek Wastewater Management Facility (WWMF) digested sludge storage dewatering equipment is in need of dewatering and cleaning.
This Project will construct an exit lane from the southwest corner of the Charlotte Douglas International Airport’s (“CLT”) Express Deck Self Park to outbound North Josh Birmingham Parkway. Additional directional markings and building signage will be installed along CLT Center Drive. Lastly, this Project proposes pedestrian sidewalk and crosswalk improvements along CLT Center Drive and at the intersection with Harlee Avenue.
