The goal of this RFP is to create multiple contracts for catering services, to be used for numerous event types. Event types are typically meetings, luncheons, new-hire orientations, city, state, or federally declared emergency events (pre-, during, and post-event), and trainings.
Each event requiring catering services will have a varying number of persons and thus an estimated headcount is not available, nor is a schedule of upcoming events. Event details will be provided to the Company when services are needed.

Irwin Creek WWTP Outfall Solids Removal
Charlotte Water is seeking a company to clean contaminated sediment from the 36-inch outfall to the Irwin Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).
Work includes cleaning the main, collecting dislodged sediment, transporting it to the treatment operation on the premises of the Irwin Creek WWTP, dewatering, and safe disposal of the contaminant.

FBO Fuel Line Repairs – Phase 2
This project is a renovation at the airport’s fixed based operator (FBO) location that will modify the existing mechanical infrastructure to bring the system into compliance with NFPA code and safety standards, while also increasing flow capacity to allow for faster fueling operations.
The scope of work includes replacement of the meter and filters, replacement of the control valve with a flow-rate control system, and the addition of an overfill prevention system and relaxation chamber.
The project duration is anticipated to be approximately five months, with roughly four months allocated for shop fabrication, assembly, and submittals, followed by approximately one month for onsite installation.

Cargo 6 Logistics Relocation
The Cargo 6 Logistics Relocation is an interior and roofing replacement of the existing Cargo 6 building located on Yorkmont Road. The interior renovation includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing, finishes, security, millwork, and restroom fixtures. In the warehouse, the renovation includes select door replacements, a dock leveler. The roof is to be replaced with a new single-ply membrane assembly and the existing rooftop unit (RTU) is to be replaced.

Perimeter Fence Upgrade Phase II
Phase II of the Perimeter Fence Upgrade project aims to enhance airfield security and safety by mitigating hazards posed by large terrestrial wildlife and preventing unauthorized access to the airfield. This phase includes the replacement of approximately 21,000 linear feet of perimeter fencing along Runway 18R/36L, as well as upgrades to select airfield gates. The project will increase the fence height from 6 feet to 10 feet and implement targeted gate modifications to align with FAA Cert Alert 16-03 and the Airport Security Plan (ASP).

Charlotte Water is seeking professional consulting services to assist with the evaluation and development of a new biosolids and residuals management contract. Charlotte Water aims to review how other municipalities or authorities structure and administer biosolids management contracts to identify best practices and innovative approaches. Findings from this research will guide the development of a new Request for Proposals (RFP) to secure biosolids handling, marketing, hauling, and disposal/reuse services that best meet Charlotte Water’s operational and strategic goals. Charlotte Water will have production of Class A biosolids, Class B biosolids, and water residuals, and is looking for ways to maximize the beneficial use of all products.
Charlotte Water (CLTWater) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified engineering companies (Company or Proposer) to provide professional engineering services for the Elevated Water Storage Tank Rehabilitation Program. The purpose of this document is to solicit qualifications of engineering firms (Firm) interested in providing program management professional services from design through construction/warranty phases of multiple tank rehabilitation projects within the overall program.
This program involves the planning, design, and construction administration for the rehabilitation of multiple elevated water storage tank projects. Each tank will undergo interior and exterior recoating to extend its service life and improve corrosion resistance. The scope also includes the replacement of outdated structural components to enhance safety and compliance. Miscellaneous piping repairs will be completed as needed to restore functionality and improve overall system performance. The project is managed to ensure coordination, quality control, and adherence to regulatory standards throughout design and construction.
