The Charlotte Fire Department (CFD) provides EMS- First Responder emergency services from 43 fire stations. Various supplies are needed to provide first responders with medical aid and basic life support. Supplies include but are not limited to, bandages, airway devices, EMS gloves, splints, OB kits, stethoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, EMS equipment bags, etc.
The scope of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) will be to establish a contract for the purchase and delivery of EMS Supplies and other inherently related activities of the Products and Services in compliance with the specifications and terms and conditions outlined in this ITB.
All Products and component parts furnished under the solicitation shall be new, shall comply with the specifications and terms and conditions outlined in the ITB, and shall operate in full compliance with the Specifications.

Professional Engineering Services for Minor Storm Drainage Projects
Storm Water Services is soliciting Statement of Qualifications from a qualified engineering companies to provide an engineered solution for various drainage issues in an existing conditions environment where existing drainage systems have failed or flooding conditions have developed and require improvement, replacement, rehabilitation, or repair treatments that meet City practices and standards. This includes, but is not limited to, initial assessment of the existing condition, concept plan development, preparation of design plans, calculations, construction estimates, bidding documents, and other items necessary to resolve reported drainage issues. In addition, participation and attendance may be required for utility coordination meetings, preconstruction meetings, construction warranty observation field meetings at 6 and 11 months intervals, and other meetings necessary to deliver each engineered solution, and address redlined comment.

Concourse E Moving Walkways
This project is to install three pair of new moving walkways on Concourse E at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (“CLT”). The Contractor shall provide new conveying systems that will work with the existing pit conditions and configurations, noting that one pair will be shortened by approximately 30’ to improve passenger circulation. Removal and disposal of the moving walkways, temporary infill of the of the existing pits, and pit modifications required to the first pair of moving walkways (E-MW-01/E-MW-02) are part of the separate Concourse E Renovations project (currently underway) and thus are not part of this scope of work. As such, it is imperative that the Contractor closely coordinate with the Concourse E Renovations project through the CLT project manager.

The scope and purpose of this project is to complete the City’s 1.5-mile segment of the Cross-Charlotte Trail from the southern end of the existing greenway north of Brandywine Rd to where the County’s new segment begins on the north side of Tyvola Rd.

On-Call Material Testing and Special Inspections Services
The selected Firm(s) will provide materials testing and special inspection services (“Services”) for various federal and nonfederal funded projects initiated by Charlotte Douglas International Airport (“CLT”) via an on-call basis. CLT will assign Services to the Firm through individual Task Order Documents.
Firms shall conduct general materials testing tasks in accordance with industry accepted standards and practices as well as the requirements of CLT, the Federal Aviation Administration, North Carolina Department of Transportation and City of Charlotte standards. Examples of Federal Aviation Administration standards include but are not limited to P-401/403 (Asphalt) and P-501 (Concrete). Materials testing will be to independently verify site/material conditions to allow work to proceed with confidence. Materials testing services may also include construction observation, report writing and quantity measurements.
The City of Charlotte is seeking to contract with one or more companies that provide on-call Unspecified Demolition and Environmental Services. This includes Securing Structures, Asbestos Abatement, Demolition, Underground Storage Tank and Soil Removal, Well Abandonment, and other environmental remediation services. All service providers must hold a North Carolina General Contractor’s License and should be knowledgeable of all federal and state statutes and regulations regarding these various services.
The City is looking to award contracts for a term of three years with the option for two, one-year renewal terms.
