The Maintenance of Way (MOW) department has exhausted its in-house spare parts for this system, which has become obsolete. The pad-mounted disconnect DC switchgear for the BL is required for a mid-life refresh. MOW is upgrading and refreshing the Pad Mounted Disconnect DC Switchgear equipment for the BL.
Scope:
Vendor will provide nine (9) 2kA pad-mounted DC disconnect switch line-ups at the locations specified in the drawings. All disconnect switch line-ups shall be pre-assembled and include the following components:

Glastic standoff insulators
Mechanical lugs
500 MCM mechanical lugs
Switch control circuit boards
Copper bus to switches
Limit switch for remote indication
Solenoid interlock
“MAC” switch nameplate with switch serial number and rating
AC Relays
The Pad Mounted Disconnect DC Switchgear is designed for installation on a concrete pad outdoors.
