The purpose of this project is to eliminate the long shafts between the pumps and motors. Custom motor stands will be built to position the motors over the pumps. The original two motors for this pump station will also be replaced.

The project is approximately 3600 linear feet of 24 inch water main connecting the existing line at Old Down Road to the 24 inch line on the east side of the airport.

This contract provides for water service extensions to residential customers and extensions to customers experiencing health risks associated with well water per a City Council approved policy. The purpose of the program is to provide service to new customers.
