Charlotte Water will be soliciting bids from interested companies for the purchase of two Mettler-Toledo T5 Excellence titrators, accessories, and consumables for its Laboratory Services Division.
This equipment will allow for quantitative chemical analysis to determine the concentration of an identified substance in a sample.

Bus Operations Portable Lift Repairs
Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is requesting proposals for PM and repair services for our portable vehicle lifts. CATS operates approximately 5 sets (20 units) of wired and wireless Stertil Koni portable vehicle lifts in its two facilities. The facilities are located at 3145 South Tryon and 900 North Davidson St, Charlotte NC.

3145 S. Tryon st. Chiller Replacement Project
Replace existing 160 Ton Air-cooled chiller with two smaller chiller units. One fore the Admin building and the other to support BOD Maintenance and body shops. This project is in response to failed chilled water piping the currently feeds the admin building. We currently have a rental chiller that is supplying the Admin building.

Project cancelled as services recently solicited and Aviation will be partnering w/ City’s for contracted services.
Aviation owns and operates more than 450 vehicles and pieces of equipment. The scope of this contract shall be to provide comprehsive vehicle collison repairs and related specialty services.

Bus Transaxle Reconditioning Services
The Company shall supply quality, trained professionals to properly diagnose, test, disassemble, clean, and/or replace OE parts as needed and reassemble. The Company is required to use genuine Meritor parts and employees certified to rebuild the differential. To help reduce turn-around time, the Company shall keep one differential (per part number) on hand. The Company will be required to return the reconditioned item or items to our facilities within twenty-four (24) hours of pick up.

Pavement Marking Materials
The Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT) maintains 690,000 linear feet of pavement markings throughout the City annually, including center lines, lane lines, edge lines, crosswalks and stop bars, and approximately 850 pavement arrows. A solicitation will be issued for thermoplastic pavement marking materials, including paint, granular materials, and pre-formed pavement markers. All material must meet the 2018 NC Department of Transportation Section 1087 specifications. The contract established will be for three years with two (2) one-year renewal options.

Automated Traffic Signal Performance Measures (ATSPM) Cloud Services
The City of Charlotte (City) strives to improve arterial operations and enhance safety at signalized intersections throughout the City by deploying an Automated Traffic Signal Performance Measures (ATSPM) system. The City is seeking to procure a commercially available, off-the-shelf ATSPM system to connect to all online signalized intersections (~780 intersections). Additionally, the City is looking for a partner that would be willing to work with the City to develop a performance metric to track the success of our Signal Control Priority citywide for our emergency vehicles and transit vehicles to help track performance of the system.
The proposed Zone 4 project will include a 36,000 sf operations center, approximately 20,000 sf of pre-engineered metal structures to house open storage, crew storage, raw materials bunkers, two (2) combination trucks, fabrication shop, and two (2) fleet maintenance bays. The project will also include demolition of existing facilities in a phased approach so as to minimally impact or impede current operations on the site. The project may also include roadway improvements to West Tyvola Road to increase accessibility to the site.
Rodgers Builders was selected as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for this project.
