Fire Station #41 Expansion
This project involves the construction of an expansion to the existing Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Station No. 41. The 6400 square foot expansion will include four bays added to the existing structure and associated mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP). The project also consists of the relocation of an existing 50’x60’ sprung structure and up to 12,662 square feet of concrete pavement around the fire station.
Note: The base bid for concrete paving is 7217sf. The 12,662sf is part of an alternate bid.

These services include conducting general material testing tasks in accordance with industry accepted standards and practices as well as the requirements of the airport, the Federal Aviation Administration, North Carolina Department of Transportation and City of Charlotte standards. Examples of Federal Aviation Administration standards include but are not limited to P-401/403 (Asphalt) and P-501 (Concrete).
Materials testing will be to independently verify site/material conditions to allow work to proceed with confidence. Material Testing services may also include construction observation, report writing and quantity measurements.

Remove and replace the joint sealant in the concrete pavement in the following locations: Runway 18R-36L, Taxiway W (and associated taxiways), Taxiway N, Taxiway S, and Taxiway V (and associated taxiways).

Bus Operations Pest Control- Cancelled
Project is canceled.
Charlotte Area Transit System Bus Operations Division (CATS-BOD) is requesting proposals for pest control services on current fleet of buses. CATS-BOD operates a transit system on a 24/7 schedule with over 400 buses operating out of two facility locations.
The contractor will provide the following services:

CATS Light Rail ROW Pest Control- Cancelled
Quarterly Pest and Rodent Control for the current 32 Structures along the Rail Right of Way ROW (Right of Way) to include Substations and Signal Houses.
The vendor will be required to be escorted by CATS (Charlotte Area Transit System) personnel to complete the task due to gates and for safety reasons.
The contract will also need to be amendable to include the any streetcar ROW (Right of Way) structures that are completed over the term of the contract.

Stowe Regional Water Resource Recovery Facility Southern Access Roads
The Project is for the construction of an extension of the existing access road at the Long Creek Pump Station for operational connectivity between the proposed Stowe Regional Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) and Long Creek Pump Station (Southern Access Road). The Southern Access Road consists of approximately 650 linear feet of paved roadway with 2-12 feet travel lanes and a three span approximately 235 feet long bridge that accommodates the two travel lanes and a pedestrian/utility corridor lane over Long Creek.
The City of Charlotte is seeking a qualified provider of Vehicle Welding and Related Services to work in conjunction with Fleet Management. The Company shall perform vehicle maintenance, repair, and modification through the provision of Welding and Related Services for vehicles and fleet equipment owned, operated, or maintained by the City. The Company shall provide these services either at their Company facilities or at approved City locations.
