The City is responsible for maintaining a portfolio of approximately 180 buildings, including offices, fire stations, police division offices, and equipment shops, that house various City activities.  The City also maintains cultural facilities, including museums and arenas that serve as venues for sports, entertainment, and other events.  Contracts resulting from this RFP may be used by various City departments for needs across the entire City organization, including the Airport and the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS).

 

The Company shall provide Emergency Mitigation Clean-Up Services at various locations as identified by the City.  This work will consist of rapid response for containment, demolition, disposal, drying, cleaning and decontamination as needed per IICRC standards and RIA guidelines on a per-incident basis for water and/or smoke damage.  Services consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for the services as directed by the City’s Project Manager.

The Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) seeks to award a contract for Landscaping Maintenance Services of common areas including facilities, roadways, field & drainage areas and inclusive of turf, shrubs, ground cover and trees, mulching, fall over seeding, bedding areas, annual color, trash control, and chemical application. Zone 3 is primarily roadway moving with limited bedding areas.

All work must meet accepted standards as set forth in industry documents and this scope of services. The Contractor must be able to perform the majority of work each weekday (Monday – Friday) with litter control occurring each day of the week including weekends. Work may on occasion be required on Saturday or at night to accommodate traffic and safety concerns upon the
site.

Work is divided between regular maintenance which is performed daily or weekly and yearly maintenance listed as annual for work that occurs an average of one each year. The Contractor shall furnish all material, labor, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, superintendence, insurance, taxes, contributions and all services and facilities unless specifically excepted, required to maintain the property

Compact 6” ABC stone will be included, as needed, estimated at 100 tons.

City of Charlotte’s Charlotte Area Transit System is requesting contractual services for our In-Ground Vehicle Lift PM and Repair Services.

CATS operates approximately 20 in-ground vehicle lifts in its two facilities. Majority of the lifts are 2 post vertical rise. CATS also has 2 triple post vertical rise lifts and 3 parallelogram lifts. The facilities are located at 3145 South Tryon and 900 North Davidson St, Charlotte NC.

Charlotte Water is seeking an analysis of the economic impact/output of utility operations on the greater Charlotte regional economy. The target region for this study includes Mecklenburg County as well as the 7 counties adjacent to Mecklenburg County. These counties include Cabarrus, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, and Union counties in North Carolina, and Lancaster and York counties in South Carolina.

The general scope includes an economic impact/output study of Charlotte Water on the Charlotte regional economy including, but not limited to, Charlotte Water’s projected direct and indirect/induced and short-term and long-term impacts on the regional economy over the next 10-years.  The impact study should include an analysis of the economic impact/output of Charlotte Water’s operating and capital expenditures and investments.

This project involves the construction of an expansion to the existing Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Station No. 41.  The 6400 square foot expansion will include four bays added to the existing structure and associated mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP). The project also consists of the relocation of an existing 50’x60’ sprung structure and up to 12,662 square feet of concrete pavement around the fire station.

Note:  The base bid for concrete paving is 7217sf.  The 12,662sf is part of an alternate  bid.
