The scope of this contract shall to be to provide passenger loading bridge baggage slides and replacement parts and equipment related to the baggage slides currently installed at the airport.

“This will be done as part of a design-build project: Dairy Branch Sewer Improvements.  I think this will be Phase 3 of that project.  The design-build team has already been selected and are currently working through their guaranteed max price (GMP) before they go to Council for approval.  We had a couple questions on the GMP for our part that the d-b team is working through.  I believe their intent is to go to Council in the next couple months with construction starting in summer/late summer, so probably not until FY23.”

The purpose and need for the construction project is to improve the storm drainage infrastructure (i.e. pipe systems and culverts) to reduce flooding and to enhance degraded stream reaches to reduce erosion and improve water quality.

Requesting a solicitation for Rail Maintenance and Maintenance Wayside equipment calibration. Seeking competitive proposals from accredited calibration service’s to provide repair and calibration services for test and measurement equipment. It is the desire of CATS Rail Operations to partner with multiple vendors for these services.

Calibration of tools and equipment is a necessary part of the quality control process for CATS Rail Operations for proper maintenance of our railcars and rail infrastructure. Tools that have exceeded their calibration due date are taken out of rotation and noted as past the calibration due date.

CATS Rail Operations is governed by our own internal calibration policy which is largely based on APTA standards. In compliance with our calibration policy, CATS Rail Operations sends out equipment throughout the year for calibration and/or repair utilizing various vendors and annually hosts an onsite calibration.

Fueling Station, Pneumatic Equipment PM and Repair Services Charlotte Area Transit System Bus Operation Division (CATS-BOD) is requesting proposals for fueling station, pneumatic equipment Preventative Maintenance, and repair services. CATS-BOD uses multiple fueling stations and pneumatic equipment between two facilities. The facilities are located at:
3145 South Tryon Charlotte, NC and
900 North Davidson Charlotte, NC.

Gasboy DEF dispensing system
Wayne Diesel dispensing system
Bus Posilock 105 fueling systems
Lincoln/Gracco lube dispensers, pneumatic pumps, retractable reels, etc.
Various fueling trolley systems
Incon/Veeder-Root tank monitoring systems
Various inground and above ground storage tanks

This acquisition is for the purchase of Optics 1 Enhanced Clip-On Thermal Imager (E-COTI) Kits in support of CMPD. E-COTI Kits improve situational awareness and increases threat detection in extreme low-light, or no light conditions.

CATS Bus Air Conditioning & Heating Parts.   Parts to include Carrier & Thermo-King.  Seeking three (3) year contract with optional two (2) year renewal.

PSR 877 Re-advertising.

Crushed stone is used in street paving projects, grading projects, storm water repair projects, and water and sewer line projects.  This Citywide contract will be primarily used by the Charlotte Department of Transportation, Charlotte Water, and Aviation.  The contract is based on estimated quantities of 12 different types and sizes of crushed stone and sand with pricing dependent upon the City using its own trucks and City personnel to pick up the stone.  City certified MWSBE firms may be considered for additional hauling needs when the City needs delivery to specific locations.

BOD (Bus Operations Division) requires a goods contract to purchase OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture)  MCI (Motor Coach Industry)/New flyer parts
