Purchase of Rail Track Maintenance Tamper Machine
Purchase of a Track Maintenance Tamper Machine, used to “tamp” the train tracks, which involves lifting the track, lining the track, and/or vibrating the ballast (rocks) to form a uniform and strong track foundation. This machine is necessary to conduct maintenance and repairs to the CATS Blue Line track alignment.

Terminal Sprinkler and Voice Evacuation Upgrade
The Terminal Sprinkler and Voice Evac Upgrade Project consists of two scopes of work, the sprinkler system upgrades and the voice evacuation system upgrades, which will be awarded separately. The Fire Sprinkler System upgrades entail adding sprinkler coverage to various locations throughout the Terminal building. These include areas throughout the ramp and ticket levels, public and non-public areas, and are all located within the secure portion of the Terminal building. The work will cover approximately 110,000SF of currently non-sprinkled existing space and will include necessary patching and painting of all impacted areas. This scope will primarily be night work, 2300-0500, with some opportunity for day work, 0700-2359.

Charlotte Water (CLTWater) will be soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified engineering firms(s) to provide On-Call Construction Administration & Inspection Services for miscellaneous projects. Task Orders will be issued against the contract for each project. Projects may be for water
or sewer projects and may focus on pipeline, lift stations, pump stations, water tanks, treatment plant work, vertical building construction or any combination thereof.

Ramp Level Break Room Addition – Concourse A
The purpose of this contract will be for Concourse A Ramp Level Break Room Addition. This will add a break room and restroom for use of building maintenance staff. This will be a turnkey project for the addition one room and one restroom. This work is outlined in the narrative and drawings provided by AME Consulting Engineers. Contract term is 6 months.
SBE Targeted ITB: The City has established that this project will be targeted to City certified SBE firms only. Only firms registered and have an active SBE certification with the City of Charlotte can bid on this project.

Distributed Antenna System (DAS)
The Charlotte Douglas International Airport, a City of Charlotte department, is seeking a company that will be responsible for the following services, further detailed within this Scope of Work:
1) Provide maintenance and monitoring services for the Airport’s Distributed Antenna System (DAS) and associated systems. This includes all existing DAS equipment currently installed and commissioned, as well as approved system expansions currently in the process of being installed at the time this contract takes place. The Company will also be responsible for providing maintenance and monitoring of all future system modifications.
2) Provide design and installation services required for modifications to the DAS either for expansion to future Airport premises or upgrades required to support carrier enhancements for services and emerging technologies.
3) Provide Project Management Services required for the support of the system and telecommunications-related services at the Airport.
4) Provide Quality Assurance and Quality Control measures to ensure installations meet the highest standards and quality.
5) Provide ongoing consultation services to the Airport regarding continual system enhancement including, but not limited to any future technologies related to the DAS and telecommunications generally.

CATS (Charlotte Area Transit System) is looking for turnout service program that includes regular servicing work such as maintenance, inspection, and repair. Working in accordance with MOW Maintenance of Way) rail maintenance and track safety standards such a repair made by the contractor will play an important role in prolonging the service life of these areas.

Land Development Consultant Services
The Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), a City of Charlotte department, is diversifying its revenue through the development of Airport-controlled property not required for aeronautical purposes. To that end, CLT seeks a land development consultant to advise its commercial development strategy for multiple landside parcels in its landholdings. CLT will seek land leases for commercial development to be awarded via a public process with advisement from the land development consultant.
The City is seeking vendors to provide Division Wrecker towing for the thirteen Police divisions throughout the City for the use by Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD), Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT – ParkIt), and Housing and Neighborhood Services (HNS – Code Enforcement). Police divisions include Central, Eastway, Freedom, Hickory Grove, Independence, Metro, North, North Tryon, Providence, South, Steele Creek, University City, and Westover.
At the City’s discretion, a vendor may be awarded a contract for one or more divisions. Vendors will be responsible for performing towing, storing, releasing, or dispensing any disabled motor vehicles. Services to be included are towing of disabled cars, code violations, and illegally parked vehicles. The rates for these services will be established by the City.
