Metrolina Regional Travel Demand Model – Technical Support
The City of Charlotte, serving as Model Custodian of the Metrolina Regional Travel Demand Model, is releasing this listing to engage a qualified firm for the purpose of technical support for the next update to the simplified tour-based Metrolina Regional Travel Demand Model (MRM). The work may involve tasks including, but not limited to:
• Technical assistance and guidance in developing household travel surveys designed to capture tour-based travel, with the potential to supplement with big data.
• Technical assistance and guidance with tour model estimation using travel survey data.
• Technical assistance and guidance with tour model calibration and validation.
• Technical assistance and guidance in developing a tour-based mode choice model (to include coordination with and endorsement by Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) and FTA.
• Additional model development guidance and assistance as needed.

Joint Operations Center (Design)
The Joint Operations Center design project at Charlotte Douglas International Airport will modify the existing building (South Cargo 6 – Building 228) to provide for the permanent joint operations facility location. The facility will be multi-functional to accommodate Operations (AOC, AEOC, direct support spaces, and administrative offices) and potential support for CMPD, TSA, and K-9 teams. The facility will be upgraded to the necessary structural upgrades, redundant power backups, fiber optic connections, and security requirements.

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is seeking to enter a contract with a firm to provide mail house services for a variety of printed direct mail materials via the United States Postal Service (USPS).
Direct mail projects include, but are not limited to, postcards, booklets, and flyers. Projects are completed on an “as-needed” basis and are often produced in relation to an upcoming community event, marketing campaign, or department initiative.

The City of Charlotte, serving as Model Custodian of the Metrolina Regional Travel Demand Model, is releasing this initial first step Request for Letters Of Intent to seek professional consulting services to design, test, and implement a household travel survey for the 12 county, bi-state model region.
This project consists of demolition of existing walls, ceiling tile, doors and frames, finishes, electrical, HVAC components, Existing. The new work Consists of repairing existing walls, installing new ceiling tiles, cleaning, refining, relocating existing HVAC grilles, installing new HVAC grilles, relocating existing lighting fixtures, providing new finishes.
