The City is seeking the development of a useful tool that promotes internet adoption through awareness, trust-building, and digital literacy. Potential for multiple awards.

This project consists of constructing one new elevated storage tank 2 MG (million gallons in size). There will be waterline work associated to extend the mainline to the tank site. The selected firm would be asked to provide clearing and grading services in preparation of the tank installation.

The City operates and maintains 775 traffic signals throughout the City of Charlotte and ensures maintenance is performed on all traffic signals every 12 to 18 months. The contracts will provide maintenance of traffic signals for all  traffic signals in the City. Work includes installation and confirming correct operation of all components.

Charlotte Water is seeking a contract for the as needed purchase of fire hydrants (any approved manufacturer), as well as Mueller (only) fire hydrant parts.  Fire hydrants are located throughout the Charlotte Water service area and require replacement parts to remain operational and/or minimize equipment issues.

The Project is for the construction of a new access road to the Long Creek Pump Station and the proposed Stowe Regional Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF).  The Northern Access Road consists of approximately 5,500 linear feet of paved open-shoulder roadway with 2-12 feet travel lanes and a dual 8’x7’ reinforced concrete box culvert carrying Long Creek Tributary #1 to its confluence with Long Creek.

This project installs small sections of sidewalk and accessible ramps throughout Charlotte.

Solid Waste Services provides multi-family garbage, recycling, and bulk item collection services through an outside vendor. The vendor will be responsible for the weekly collection and delivery to designated disposal sites for approximately 915 multi-family communities and 110 City facilities. Garbage will be collected in dumpsters and compactors. The contracted vendor will also provide 96-gallon-sized carts for recycling and will be responsible for live Christmas tree collection once per year in January.

Project to obtain lab testing companies that offers  Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) services. Companies must be familiar with a scientific methodology to detect PFAS substance and has knowledge of federal and state requirements.
