Firefighting Hoses and Nozzles
The Charlotte Fire Department is requesting a new solicitation for Snap-Tite brand fire hose and Akron brand nozzles. These hose and nozzle combinations are replaced on average every 10-years, consistent with the apparatus replacement cycle. All materials must meet the minimum requirements of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). The Fire Department will only accept hose that is manufactured, coupled and tested in the U.S.A.

Franklin Water Treatment Plant Clearwell Improvements
Charlotte Water is requesting bids for construction of the Franklin Water Treatment Plant Clearwell project. This project includes installation of large diameter (72 to 120 inch) pipes, valves, and fittings. It also includes constructing a new chemical feed system, including a new building, pumps, storage silos, and chemical piping.

Airport Lease Management System
Charlotte Douglas International Airport (“CLT” or the “Airport”) has various contract agreements which require regular intervention to ensure the Airport remains in full contract compliance. The successful proposer (the “Company”) will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a property, space, and Lease management software solution (the “System”) to assist the Airport with managing documents. The system will act as a central management tool for agreements and must have the ability to store, track, monitor, update, manage, report, and customize over 500 leases and agreements with varying entities, terms, and conditions. The System should provide extreme flexibility to ensure oversight of all requirements throughout the life of each agreement.
The term of the Contract shall be for three (3) years with two optional, one (1) year renewals.

Concourse E Renovation (Construction Grant Funded)
Renovations to the public areas including replacement of moving walkways, toilet room renovation and expansion, terrazzo installation in the common circulation areas, ceiling replacement, new wayfinding signage and mechanical, plumbing and electrical work as required to support the renovation.
This Contract is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 – Participation by DBE in Department of Transportation Financial Assistance Programs and the City’s DBE Program. The City’s DBE program, DBE program instructions, and DBE forms can be found at:

The City has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of Twelve Percent (12.00%) for this contract. Subcontracting firms must be DBE certified through NCDOT to count towards participation.

Tuckaseegee Road Intelligent Transportation System (ITS)
This project will install single‐mode fiber optic cable installed in new directionally bored, hand-dug and trenched conduit, existing conduit, and aerial attachments to poles. This project includes entrances and interconnect equipment for existing traffic signal control cabinets and the installation of traffic management cameras. This project also includes fiber optic cable splicing, testing, Ethernet communications equipment, traffic management camera equipment, and other related activities.

PCC Spall Repair Program
The Airfield Maintenance Department of the Facilities Division of CLT maintains hard surface areas of the airfield, tenant and CLT parking areas, and private roadways on CLT property. The intent of this solicitation is to select a company to provide repairs utilizing selected construction materials for specific projects at various locations on airport property on an as needed basis during the duration of the scheduled contract. The Scope of Services requires the contractor to furnish all supervision, labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and services, and perform and complete all work in an efficient and workmanlike manner necessary to complete construction of the PCC Spall Repair Program
Charlotte Water is soliciting Statement of Qualifications from a qualified engineering firm to conduct odor and corrosion studies for various areas and lift stations. These studies will evaluate each lift station and its inflow and outflow of sewer pipes and manholes for odor control and corrosion protection . The selected firm will evaluate the various listed areas and prepare a plan of action to correct and address the odor and corrosion issues for Charlotte Water.
