Coffey Creek Environmental Mitigation (2nd Re-Solicitation)
The purpose of the Coffey Creek Environmental Mitigation bid is to establish a lump sum contract with a qualified contractor to construct the features and components of the Corrective Action Plan that has been designed by WSP, (as Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc.) (the “CAP Design”) for the former U.S. Airways Maintenance Hangar site located at 5020 Hangar Road in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina on behalf of Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). The CAP Design (dated October 20, 2022) was submitted to the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) for review. NCDEQ issued a Notice of Regulatory Requirements (NORR) letter (dated November 30, 2022) indicating approval of the Corrective Action Plan (CAP).

Active Assailant Table-Top Exercise and Full-Scale Exercise
The City of Charlotte Aviation Department is seeking informal solicitation requests for the Charlotte Douglas International Airport Active Assailant Full-Scale Exercise (FSE) and Table-Top Exercise (TTX) to be held in the Summer of 2024, estimated in the July – August – September timeframe.
Previous work experience with Active Assailant Full-Scale Exercises (FSEs) and Table-Top Exercises (TTXs) is required, in addition, previous exercises at airports are preferred.
The contract will be for two (2) years.

McAlpine Creek WWTP Administration Renovations–CANCELLED
The project includes, but is not limited to, the renovation of the second floor of the McAlpine Creek WWMF Administration Building and the replacement of HVAC equipment on both floors and outside of the building. Work includes partial demolition of existing facilities to renovate two laboratories, upgrade restroom facilities, convert nonfunctioning lab space into office space, upgrade currently operating lab space, and replace non-functioning HVAC system and associated appurtenances.

S70 Light Rail Vehicle Engineering Services
This Request for Proposals is to select one or more firms to provide consulting engineering services to the CATS Rail Car Maintenance department on a task order on-call basis. CATS reserves the right to substitute, delete, or add additional tasks to those outlined in Work because of changes in priorities or unforeseen circumstances. The Consultant services are not considered either complete or all-inclusive and may include any combination thereof. We recognize that some categories are not unique and may be like others, interface with, or be extensions of others.

CLT – On-Call Electronic Equipment Repair Services – VOID
This opportunity will establish on-call electronic repair services, specifically for aviation and HVAC electronic equipment and devices. These services will include troubleshooting and repairing electronics on a circuit board level.
The resulting contract is anticipated to be an initial three (3) year term with two (2) – one (1) year renewal options.

CLT – Air Filter Services – DUPLICATE (VOID)
Provide air filtration products and perform quarterly changes of these air filtration products for the air handling units which condition the air for the main terminal building, five concourses, and the CLT Center. Provide the labor to install the new air filters and to dispose of the old air filters from each of the air handling units in the service areas.
Three (3) year term with two (2) additional one (1) year renewals.

Firefighting Foam Concentrate
The Charlotte Fire Department is requesting a new contract for firefighting foam services. Work to be performed under this contract is to purchase firefighting foam concentrate. The foam is used to extinguish flammable liquid fires and prevent fires from hydrocarbon fuel spills. This product is standardized within CFD and is carried on all engines, ladders, tankers, and several specialized units.

Temporary Traffic Control Services
The objective of this RFP is to solicit Proposals that will enable the City to determine which Company(s) and Proposed Solution(s) will best meet the City’s needs for the delivery and setup of traffic control devices in work zones and special event locations as well as the provision of flaggers and other personnel to maintain work zones. The services generally consist of as-needed temporary traffic control services including the rental of arrow signs and portable changeable message signs (PSMS) for scheduled and emergency infrastructure maintenance and for other events requiring the diversion of traffic, lane closures, or notice to the public. This includes the placement and removal of traffic control devices by qualified personnel as well as the flagging of traffic. This will include all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to safely route traffic through CDOT work zones or special event areas.
Psychological Services – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) officers have access to sensitive, protected information, and hold positions of trust in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community. To assist in maintaining this trust, CMPD conducts a thorough evaluation of potential Recruits to ensure that the best qualified are selected. A psychological evaluation is a required as a component of the selection process. Additionally, CMPD offers psychological services (e.g. counseling) to several segments of its workforce and shall require Employees who exhibit troubling behaviors to undergo a fit-for-duty evaluation in certain circumstances.
