The scope of this project will include 0.34 miles of new 6ft wide concrete sidewalk, driveway improvements, and wheelchair ramps on Lawyers Rd from Chestnut Lake Dr to Harri Ann Dr.
Charlotte Storm Water Services / Construction
Rounding Run Storm Drainage Improvement Project
The purpose and need for this construction project is to improve the storm drainage infrastructure (i.e. pipe systems and culverts) to reduce flooding and to enhance degraded stream reaches to reduce erosion and improve water quality. This project is under review. Location and project details will be provided after review is complete.
This project will connect sidewalk along Kuykendall Road from
Thorn Blade Drive to McKee Road, and add a right-turn lane from
Kuykendall Road on to McKee Road in order to to increase
pedestrian safety and help alleviate traffic congestion at the
intersection. Project will also fill in small sidewalk gap on the south
side of McKee Rd at Kuykendall Rd and add pedestrian signals with
crosswalk at this intersection. Project length = approximately 0.75
miles.
