The need for this construction project is to improve the storm drainage infrastructure (i.e. pipe systems and culverts) to reduce flooding and to enhance degraded stream reaches to reduce erosion and improve water quality. Rhodes SDIP is a minor bid project that was created to address the service request at 3738 Rhodes and is located on the City project dashboard.

Laurel Avenue Storm Drainage Improvement Project
This project is bordered by Laurel Avenue to the north, Dotger Avenue to the south, Randolph Road to the east and Hempstead Place to the west. The existing drainage system consists of closed pipe systems. This drainage system is currently undersized and street flooding has been reported on Colville Road and building flooding has been reported on Cranbrook Lane.

Eastway Storm Drainage Improvement Project
The project involves analysis of existing conditions to determine areas suitable for improvement, planning analysis of improvement alternatives, and the design and construction of the needed improvements in the Eastway Storm Drainage Improvement Project (SDIP) area.
The Eastway Storm Drainage Improvement Project is bordered by Arnold Drive to the north, Central Avenue to the south, Temple Lane to the east and Eastway Drive to the west. This project area is within a drainage area of approximately 200 acres and the improvements may include pipe system upgrades and channel improvements.

Bruns Academy Water Quality Enhancement Project
There is an existing wetlands system and stream adjacent to the Bruns Academy that are in need of improvements. The intent of this project is to reset an existing wetlands system to its original design and provide enhancement, where applicable. Wetland restoration efforts will include regrading, sodding and planting of vegetation, installation of a new pedestrian bridge and retaining wall. Additionally, stream improvements, such as regrading banks and adding riffles, are proposed. The proposed improvements will enhance the overall performance of the system for conveying and treating stormwater.

This project is a collective package of 7 small Storm Drain Improvement projects that will be constructed under one contract. This project package is under review and location and project details will be provided after review is complete.

Citywide On Call Cabling Services
General Scope.
The City requires qualified and experienced Companies to provide on‐call low voltage cabling installation and renovation
services. These Services include, but are not limited to, installation and maintenance of: data cabling, Ethernet, building
wiring, fiber optic installations, voice and/or data network installation, network cabling, hardware testing and certification,
audio and/or video cabling, radio frequency (“RF”), cabinet installation, bonding and grounding, patch cables, and
backboards. The Services may be required at any City facility.
Project started due to surface depressions along roadway. City plans to remove and replace corrugated metal pipe with 83 linear feet (LF) of 8’ x 4’ reinforced concrete box culvert; remove and replace two headwalls; remove and replace 311 LF of 15″ reinforced concrete pipe (RCP); remove and replace 42 LF 24″ RCP; remove and replace 27 LF 18″ RCP; bank grading; and remove and replace 85 LF 10” ductile iron pipe of sewer.
