Resurfacing FY 2025-2026
This project consists of street resurfacing and its associated functions throughout the City of Charlotte. Resurfacing is not limited geographically as the possibility exists for paving to be performed anywhere within the city. The project includes traffic control, asphalt and concrete pavement milling, asphalt paving, base failure repair, asphalt surface treatment, utility adjustments, manhole frame and cover replacements, wheelchair ramp installation, sidewalk, curb repairs, bike program elements, and pavement markings.

Asbestos Surveying Services
The City’s Housing and Neighborhood Services (“HNS”) department is seeking proposals from qualified Companies to provide Asbestos Surveying Services (“Services”). The Services are required for various types of buildings scheduled for renovations or demolition located within the City and
the City’s Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (“ETJ”), which includes the unincorporated areas of Charlotte. The results of the asbestos surveys will allow HNS to prepare orders for the removal of Asbestos- Containing Materials (“ACMs”), if required and as recommended by the Company.
The Company shall survey and identify all accessible and non-accessible friable and non-friable ACMs in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (“OSHA”) Regulations 29 Code of Federal Regulations (“CFR”) 1910.1001 and 29 CFR 1926.1101; the Environmental Protection Agency’s (“EPA”) National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (“NESHAP”) and Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (“AHERA”); and all other applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The Services shall be conducted by an asbestos inspector accredited by the state of North Carolina. The Company shall provide to the City Project Manager copies of all certifications/qualifications of each of its inspectors annually.
The Services shall include, but not be limited to, inspecting all buildings located on a property identified as being at risk or unlivable by HNS’s Code Enforcement Division, most of which are slated for demolition; taking samples of suspect ACMs; submitting suspect ACM samples to a certified laboratory for analysis; submitting a survey report with analysis results and recommended actions regarding any ACMs identified to the City Project Manager; and conducting post-abatement visual inspections, as needed. The surveying, laboratory analysis, and survey reporting must be completed within three (3) business days of the date of the work order, beginning with the first business day after the work order is issued.

The Facilities Building Maintenance Division of the Aviation Department is
responsible for maintaining a portfolio of approximately 115 buildings, airport terminal buildings, including offices, fire station, and equipment shops, that house various City activities. The Airport is seeking a company that specializes in commercial painting services to provide painting services at various locations as identified by the City on an as needed basis. Services
consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for the painting and finishing of new and existing interior and exterior surfaces, i.e., walls, doors, jambs, window frames, and other work as directed by the Project Manager.

MS Switchgear Replacement
This project is for the production of engineered documents detailing the replacement of the existing
2500A switchboard ‘MS’ located in the basement below the main terminal of CLT airport. The existing
switchgear shall be replaced with (2) new electrical distribution panelboards and shall have backup
power availability through the installation of a generator docking station and manual transfer switch.
The new distribution panelboards shall feed all existing circuits energized from existing switchboard
‘MS’. After all existing circuits have been refed, existing switchboard ‘MS’ shall be demolished.

Concourse C International Gates Connector (Canceled)
Airport will seek qualifications for Architecture/Engineering consultant services for the addition of circulation pathways to connect up to 8 existing aircraft gates in Concourse C with the Federal Inspection Station (FIS) located in Concourse D. Services will include concept development (including architectural planning and site planning), schematic design, design development, contract documents, bidding services, and construction administration.
The purpose of the Coffey Creek Environmental Mitigation bid is to establish a lump sum contract with a qualified contractor to construct the features and components of the Corrective Action Plan that has been designed by WSP, (as Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc.) (the “CAP Design”) for the former U.S. Airways Maintenance Hangar site located at 5020 Hangar Road in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina on behalf of Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). The CAP Design (dated October 20, 2022) was submitted to the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) for review. NCDEQ issued a Notice of Regulatory Requirements (NORR) letter (dated November 30, 2022) indicating approval of the Corrective Action Plan (CAP).
