Pavement Markings, Thermoplastic Pavement Markings
The pavement markings and line removal will be performed on roadways that are maintained by the City of Charlotte and by the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). This is a task order-based contract for on-call services. The services will be established via task orders which include the following: Mobilization, Pavement Markings, Thermoplastic Pavement Markings, Thermoplastic Line Removal, and Traffic Control.

Traffic Signal Detection Technology Evaluation
The City of Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide advanced detection technology and assist with its installation at designated intersections. This effort supports a comparative analysis to identify the most suitable detection solution for the City. The selected detection systems must reliably identify all roadway users, including vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, and scooters.
Participating vendors will engage in a field evaluation and must provide all necessary equipment, software, and installation assistance. The City intends to award a three-year contract with two optional one-year renewals, for a total potential term of five years. Evaluation criteria include detection capabilities, ease of installation and maintenance, technical compliance, feature set, data quality, experience, and cost competitiveness.

This traffic signal contract will provide resources to install and maintain traffic signals and support infrastructure citywide.

Snow and Ice Removal
The City of Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT) is responsible for the removal of snow and ice on City maintained streets. Additional resources are needed to clear streets during extraordinary winter weather events. Contractors provide additional dump truck and plowing equipment with licensed operators to supplement City services.

Fawnbrook Ln (514) Storm Drainage Improvement Project
The need for this construction project is to improve the storm drainage infrastructure (i.e. pipe systems and culverts) to reduce flooding and to enhance degraded stream reaches to reduce erosion and improve water quality. This project is under review. Location and project details will be provided after the review is complete.

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Bus Operations Division (BOD) anticipates contracting out for the inspection and service of fire extinguishers on up to 400 vehicles at the locations of 901 North Davidson and 3145 South Tryon. Inspections will take place annually and will be serviced if necessary. This is a 5 year contract (3+1+1).

The City of Charlotte will be issuing a Request for Proposals on behalf of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department to solicit for a contract with a qualified consulting company that can provide consulting services to develop and implement a CAD Solution to replace and consolidate the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Charlotte Fire Department, and Mecklenburg County Medic respective systems.
