Concourse D Escalator In-Truss Modernization
The Concourse D Escalator In-Truss Modernization project at Charlotte Douglas International Airport will consist of in-truss modernization of five existing escalators located at Concourse D. This project includes, but is not limited to, new doorways to access areas under the escalators, electrical demolition, conduits and wiring, circuit for the motor controller and additional circuits, and light fixtures.

This project will construct a bridge over I-85 to directly connect Doug Mayes Place and Louis Rose Place. This will relieve congestion at the WT Harris Blvd/ I-85 and Mallard Creek Church Rd/ I-85 interchanges.

CLT Historic Hangar Shell Renovation
Renovations to the Historic Hangar including removal and replacement of metal roof and wall panels, and painting wall panels including a Preferred Brand Alternate. Electrical scope includes removal of existing exterior incandescent flood lights and replacing with new custom manufactured LED light fixtures reusing the existing electrical circuitry.

Collective P Storm Drainage Improvement Project
The work involves various storm drainage improvements including the replacement of storm drainage pipes, curb & gutter, storm drainage structures, retaining walls, water and sewer (relocations, installations, and adjustments), and asphalt pavement. Stormwater maintenance work may be located entirely within or a combination of the street right-of-way, private, residential, and commercial properties.

Arc Flash Testing
Charlotte Douglas International Airport is soliciting proposals from qualified (professionally licensed) Electrical Engineering Consultants who have the knowledge, experience, and capability to complete an arc flash and shock hazard evaluation, calculations, and labeling for all facilities to support the safe operation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure and comply with applicable regulations and industry practices. Time is of the essence. The consultant shall ensure available resources, as necessary, to facilitate work in a timely fashion. The evaluation, calculations, and labeling are to be performed in compliance with the latest codes and standards associated with electrical safety and arc flash standards including those set forth by IEEE 1584, NFPA 70E, & NFPA 70.

Redman Road SDIP
Work performed under this contract will consist of storm water infrastructure repair and improvement projects within the city limits of Charlotte, NC. Work will involve mobilization, earthwork, drainage structures, storm drain pipe systems, and channels. Work will also include working over, under, near, and around existing private utilities, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, landscaping and any associated work required by the Engineer. Other work may include structural foundation protection, storm water pipe lining, storm water pipe joint and structure repair, water and sewer (relocations, installations and adjustments). Storm Water maintenance work may be located entirely within the street right-of-way or within storm drainage easements.

Foxwood Road 2727 Storm Drain Improvement Project
The purpose and need for this construction project is to improve the storm drainage infrastructure (i.e. pipe systems and culverts) to reduce flooding and to enhance degraded stream reaches to reduce erosion and improve water quality. By engaging a qualified contractor to carry out this evaluation, CATS aims to optimize our compensation practices, ensuring fairness, competitiveness, and alignment with industry standards and internal structures.
The CATS Project Manager will furnish the Contractor with all necessary documentation, including pay ranges, job classifications, and any other pertinent information essential for the completion of the study.
