General Technical Assistance On-Call Consulting Services
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) as a department of the City of Charlotte (City) plans to hire multiple professional consultant teams to provide professional services related to transit vehicles and maintenance; facility assessments and design; transit safety, training, and security planning; and transit technology support for related CATS projects. Project teams can propose on all or just one of the general technical services being requested. The various services shall be requested on an as needed basis using a negotiated work order process. The City is seeking firms whose combination of experience and personnel will provide timely, cost effective and quality professional services to the City.

The selected partner will design and implement an accelerator program with multiple cohorts each year during the two-year period. The accelerator will assist entrepreneurs through modalities such as coaching, mentor meetings, networking events, pitch practice, and others to support them through funding or other significant milestones. This assessment and implementation plan is to provide an in-depth understanding of the challenges, opportunities, and key factors affecting small businesses in Charlotte.

Hill Street Storm Drainage Improvement Project
The storm drainage improvement project is for the area in and around Hill Street. The construction project boundaries are Tryon Street to the southeast, Trade Street to the northeast, South Cedar Street and West 1st Street to the north, and Palmer Street to the southwest. The project includes storm drainage improvements that reduce house and street flooding or will repair failing infrastructure.

Matheson Avenue Bridge Streetscape
This project will incorporate pedestrian, bicycle and bridge improvements on Matheson Avenue from North Tryon Street to Jordan Place. The project will include a westbound one-way bicycle path along the north side of Matheson Avenue and a two- way bicycle path and sidewalk along the south side. Both sides will include a three-foot buffer between the bicycle paths and the road.

Chatham Storm Drainage Improvement Project
The purpose and need for this construction project is to improve the storm drainage infrastructure (i.e. pipe systems and culverts) to reduce flooding and to enhance degraded stream reaches to reduce erosion and improve water quality. This project is under review. Location and project details will be provided after review is complete.
The City of Charlotte is requesting a new contract to provide safety supplies and personal protective equipment. The successful bidder shall agree to receive all orders from the Charlotte Department of Transportation, Neighborhood & Business Services, Charlotte Water, and Solid Waste Services as well as other departments and deliver items ordered to a specified address.
All Products and component parts furnished under the Contract shall be new, shall comply with the specifications and terms and conditions.
