The scope of this contract shall be to provide ADA Assessment and Remediation Services on Digital Assets for the City of Charlotte.

The City of Charlotte is interested in partnering with qualified companies capable of digital asset assessment and remediation (e.g., websites, web apps, mobile apps, kiosks, public information display systems, etc.) for the purpose of citizen and employee accessibility, and accessibility by anyone with a disability pursuant to the American Disabilities Act (ADA) (42 U.S.C. Ch. 126 – 12-101 et seq).

The project area covers approximately 20 acres and is roughly bounded by Old Plank Road to the north, Larkhaven Road to the east, Westbourne Drive to the west, and Bellhaven Boulevard to the south. The project includes storm drain improvement including culvert replacements, repair of aging and deteriorating storm drains by way of pipe system upgrades, and channel stabilization improvements. The project also includes water line upgrades and sanitary sewer relocations along with road resurfacing and seeding in affected project areas.

The scope of this contract shall be to provide Terrazzo Maintenance Services at various locations on the airport’s property.  The services include, but are not limited to, labor, supervision, materials, equipment, chemicals, supplies, and incidentals for complete terrazzo maintenance services at the following locations on airport property: CLT Airport Main Terminal, the Old Terminal, and Express Deck 1. All work is to be performed between 9:30 PM – 5:30 AM, 7 days a week.

The purpose and need for this construction project is to improve the storm drainage infrastructure (i.e. pipe systems and culverts) to reduce flooding and to enhance degraded stream reaches to reduce erosion and improve water quality. The project area is bordered by Ashton Drive to the north, Sharon Road to the south and east, and Park Road to the west. The existing drainage system consists of open channel and closed concrete and metal pipe systems.

This will be for a construction contract utilized for sanitary sewer rehab and repairs. Work will be focused on failed or failing sanitary sewer collection system assets. Work performed for this contract will help prevent future sanitary sewer overflows.

Work performed under this contract will consist of storm water infrastructure repair and improvement projects within the city limits of Charlotte, NC. Work will involve mobilization, earthwork, drainage structures, storm drain pipe systems, channels, working over, under, near, and around existing private utilities, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, and landscaping and any associated work required by the Engineer. Other work may include structural foundation protection, storm water pipe lining, storm water pipe joint and structure repair, water and sewer (relocations, installations and adjustments). Storm Water maintenance work may be located entirely within or a combination of the street right-of-way, private, residential and commercial properties.
