Microtransit Dedicated Providers Cancelled
Contract multiple turnkey microtransit operators with dedicated fleet to operate multiple microtransit zones consistent with the adopted Envision My Ride Plan. FY 24 budget request covers initial software integration with CATS-Pass App ($35,000 estimated cost) plus the operation of up to four microtransit zones with up to seven dedicated vehicles ($2,212,021 estimated cost). Procurement process should allow for contract renewal and expansion of services annually consistent with approved operating budgets.

Transit Management Services
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS), a department of the City of Charlotte, is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide professional transit management services for the Bus Operations Division (BOD). CATS is seeking a partner to operate and maintain its Fixed Route Bus and Maintenance Services. Service Provider will provide all personnel necessary to perform the Services and all other goods and ancillary services needed to deliver the Services. The ideal partner will be service-oriented and aggressively focused on ensuring the best possible experience for our customers through collaboration and data-driven continuous improvement processes.

Airport Express Deck Sign Demolition
The Express Deck signage demolition will be a turnkey project for the removal and disposal of the sign assembly with the demolition of the supporting concrete columns, per construction drawings. The contract term of the shall be for a one-time purchase in which the project is estimated to be completed within 60 days.

Painting Services
The City is responsible for maintaining a portfolio of approximately 180 buildings, including offices, fire stations, police division offices, and equipment shops, that house various City activities. The City also maintains cultural facilities, including museums and arenas that serve as venues for sports, entertainment, and other events. Contracts resulting from this RFP may be used by various City departments for needs across the entire City organization.
The Company shall provide painting services at various locations as identified by the City. Services consist of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for the painting and finishing of new and existing interior and exterior surfaces, i.e., walls, doors, jambs, window frames, and other work as directed by the Project Manager. Work areas may be occupied and require the moving and repositioning of office equipment and furniture.
The City reserves the right to prepare an individual Scope of Work and require a proposal with a complete breakdown of material, equipment, and labor cost for each project consistent with the prices established per the Price Schedule. The City reserves the right to furnish any and all equipment and/or supplies for projects. The City may solicit a quote for Services from one or more companies prior to assigning an individual project.

On Call Stream Restoration and Sanitary Sewer Repair
This project includes stream stabilization and sewer repair at multiple locations within the sanitary sewer collection system. Stream stabilization structures shall be constructed to protect existing and proposed sanitary sewer infrastructure.
Project components include natural in-stream structures, plantings, site grading, sanitary sewer replacement, sheet pile installation, bypass pumping and sediment control measures. Site locations will be released during the contract duration.
The contract is expected to be for a two-year term with possible renewal.

619 Cedar St Storm Drainage Improvement Project
This project is located on South Cedar Street between Stadium View Drive and Westmere Avenue. The existing drainage system consists of a culvert under a city-maintained road. The Project consists of replacing a failing culvert crossing at 619 Cedar St. with new installation of a box culvert.

FY24 Small Diameter Water/Sewer Service Contract #1
This contract is for water and sanitary sewer service installations, including connection to the existing public main, which extends a small diameter line to the property, and includes a water meter box or sanitary sewer clean out. Customers pay connection fees for the installation service, which is based on costs incurred by Charlotte Water in these contracts. The work covered by this contract will provide approximately 900 total services.

Catawba River Water Pump Station Cell 4 – Pump Addition -CANCELLED
This project would add an additional pump to Cell #4 which is sized like the existing, and a capacity of 65 million gallons per day.
The Catawba River Water PS Cell 4 Pump Addition should be cancelled. It has been pushed out in the CIP and will not be available in January 2024. There is no updated timeline on this project.
Repair tile columns at 11 Blue Line stations that were installed in 2007. Reasons for repair include vandalism, bullnose wear on top course causing tile failure, and other freeze/thaw issues.
