Water Quality Report Printing and Mailing Services
Charlotte Water is seeking a multiyear contract for the printing and mailing of the annual water quality report. The report is mailed annually to every resident in Mecklenburg County using the USPS list (est. 500,000 copies) on specialty paper and adhering to certain other specifications, such as ink type. Charlotte Water will provide a print-ready file to the company. Timing to perform these services is critical, as the report must be mailed by a strict deadline.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport (“CLT” or “Airport”), which is owned and operated by the City of Charlotte, North Carolina, will be seeking Proposals from qualified and experienced rental car facility management companies (individually or collectively) interested in providing operating, management and maintenance services (the “CONRAC Management Services”) for the consolidated rental car facilities (the “CONRAC”) at the Airport.

The Concourse D Escalator In-Truss Modernization project at Charlotte Douglas International Airport will consist of in-truss modernization of five existing escalators located at Concourse D. This project includes, but is not limited to, new doorways to access areas under the escalators, electrical demolition, conduits and wiring, circuit for the motor controller and additional circuits, and light fixtures.

This project will construct a bridge over I-85 to directly connect Doug Mayes Place and Louis Rose Place. This will relieve congestion at the WT Harris Blvd/ I-85 and Mallard Creek Church Rd/ I-85 interchanges.

CLT Historic Hangar Shell Renovation
Renovations to the Historic Hangar including removal and replacement of metal roof and wall panels, and painting wall panels including a Preferred Brand Alternate. Electrical scope includes removal of existing exterior incandescent flood lights and replacing with new custom manufactured LED light fixtures reusing the existing electrical circuitry.

Collective P Storm Drainage Improvement Project
The work involves various storm drainage improvements including the replacement of storm drainage pipes, curb & gutter, storm drainage structures, retaining walls, water and sewer (relocations, installations, and adjustments), and asphalt pavement. Stormwater maintenance work may be located entirely within or a combination of the street right-of-way, private, residential, and commercial properties.

Arc Flash Testing
Charlotte Douglas International Airport is soliciting proposals from qualified (professionally licensed) Electrical Engineering Consultants who have the knowledge, experience, and capability to complete an arc flash and shock hazard evaluation, calculations, and labeling for all facilities to support the safe operation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure and comply with applicable regulations and industry practices. Time is of the essence. The consultant shall ensure available resources, as necessary, to facilitate work in a timely fashion. The evaluation, calculations, and labeling are to be performed in compliance with the latest codes and standards associated with electrical safety and arc flash standards including those set forth by IEEE 1584, NFPA 70E, & NFPA 70.

Redman Road SDIP
Work performed under this contract will consist of storm water infrastructure repair and improvement projects within the city limits of Charlotte, NC. Work will involve mobilization, earthwork, drainage structures, storm drain pipe systems, and channels. Work will also include working over, under, near, and around existing private utilities, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, landscaping and any associated work required by the Engineer. Other work may include structural foundation protection, storm water pipe lining, storm water pipe joint and structure repair, water and sewer (relocations, installations and adjustments). Storm Water maintenance work may be located entirely within the street right-of-way or within storm drainage easements.
Charlotte Water will be seeking a contract with multiple companies for HVAC preventative maintenance and repair services throughout its facilities. Facilities include, but are not limited to, administration buildings, water and wastewater treatment plants, lift stations, and booster stations. Preventative maintenance schedules are typically quarterly, and repairs are performed as needed. The goal of such contracts is to minimize downtime of HVAC equipment.
