Property and Casualty Claims Third Party Administrator
•The City’s Risk Management office coordinates the investigation and payment of property and casualty claims for the City, Mecklenburg County, Medic, and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. • Property and casualty claims requiring field and after-hours responses and investigations are outsourced to a third-party administrator. • Third-party administrator services may include: – Performing field investigations; – Maintaining claim files and records; – Coordinating investigations on litigated claims; – Investigating and pursuing opportunities for subrogation; – Providing loss mitigation services; and – Establishing initial reserves. • Contract option for full claim services versus partial claim field services |

4th Parallel Runway Runway Package 1: Taxiway V and Connectors
The first phase of constructing the Fourth Parallel Runway at CLT is the southward extension of existing Taxiway V and construction of related connector taxiways. The project includes demolition, erosion and sedimentation control, grading, drainage, airfield concrete and asphalt paving, marking, fencing, and airfield lighting/signage. The new taxiway will meet FAA Taxiway Design Group (TDG) 5 requirements.

Miranda Road Firehouse 46
A new infill firehouse will be designed and constructed at 4032 Miranda Road to alleviate high call volumes and meet response time standards in the area. The firehouse will reflect the design of Firehouse #45, a 3-bay, 2-story firehouse programmed for approximately 14,600 square feet. The proposed facility will be located at the corner of Beatties Ford Road. Parcel #03741123 is approximately 6.54 acres. This location and site selection meets the City of Charlotte Policy for Sustainable City Facilities and Charlotte Fire Department Facilities Master Plan.

Firehouse #11 Replacement
Charlotte Firehouse #11 located at 620 W. 28th Street is one of the older CFD facilities. The building has a pressing need for repair and upgrades. This project will remove and replace the existing firehouse with a facility which meets modern day needs. The project will produce a new 17,000 SF, 4-bay two-story firehouse.

CMPD Northwest Division Police Station (Re-Bid)
The Project is the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department’s Northwest Division The building site is located at 1800 & 1818 Mt Holly-Huntersville Rd., Charlotte, NC 28214. The Project consists of a new 16,000 square foot, single story facility.
The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following:
a. Improvements to Mt Holly-Huntersville Road
b. New driveway connections to Mt Holly-Huntersville Road, a visitor parking area and a gated/fenced in, staff/fleet parking area with underground piping to a storm water pond.
c. An open air canopy for consisting of a pre-engineered, metal building structure with standing seam metal roof system.
d. Electric Vehicle (EV) Service Equipment (EV charging station system).
e. A ground mounted, 249kWh/year, 208V, 3-phase Photo-Voltaic (PV) solar array collector system.
f. A Geothermal well field system with a packaged pump skid.

This project will install single‐mode fiber optic cable installed in new directionally bored, hand dug and trenched conduit, existing conduit and aerial attachments to poles. It will remove and replace existing copper and fiber communication cables. This project includes entrances and interconnect equipment for existing traffic signal control cabinets and the installation of traffic management cameras. This project also includes fiber optic cable splicing, testing, Ethernet communications equipment, traffic management camera equipment and other related activities.

Valet Parking Upfit
The Valet Parking Upfit Project at Charlotte Douglas International Airport relocates the temporary valet parking location to a new permanent premium service valet parking operation and experience for the CLT passengers at the basement level of the Hourly Deck. The Valet Parking Upfit Project will include a customer transaction counter, customer waiting area, key storage room with passthrough window, employee breakroom, storage closet, four automatic glass sliding doors, paint and finishes in the Terminal and Parking Area, signage, hardware, and misc. equipment.

Relocation of West Boulevard (NC 160) (Construction)
The West Boulevard Project includes the construction of approximately 1.2 miles of the future West Blvd by realigning existing Byrum Drive and existing Piney Top Drive from the intersection of Steele Creek Road and West Blvd to the intersection of West Blvd and Piney Top Drive. The Project includes construction of a new intersection of proposed West Blvd and Byrum Drive and a new intersection of proposed West Blvd and Piney Top Drive. Disciplines will include roadway, hydraulics, erosion control, signals, traffic management, pavement marking, signing, utility design, and utility relocation. Existing portions of West Blvd between Steele Creek Road and Piney Top Drive will be removed as part of a separate project.
The City of Charlotte is seeking a new contract for Reflective Glass Beads. The purpose of the contract is to purchase glass beads for the City of Charlotte’s Aviation and Transportation Departments to mark roadways and runways for higher visibility to bring driver awareness and highway safety.
