The City of Charlotte is seeking a qualified provider of Refuse Truck Body Repair Services to work in conjunction with Fleet Management. The Company shall perform maintenance, and repair services on fleet refuse truck body equipment owned, operated, or maintained by the City.

This project will extend the Cross Charlotte Trail main alignment from  N. Tryon Street to Orr Road with additional connectors to the surrounding area.

This will be an invitation to bid for construction that will consist of cured-in-place pipe lining, manhole rehab, and a sewer diversion structure. The diversion consists of 200-300 linear feet of sewer pipe and several new manholes. A procurement officer has already been assigned to this.

This project will build bike facilities in several different locations throughout the Elizabeth neighborhood to create safer conditions and improve ease of travel for cyclists and pedestrians, including approximately 2.1 miles of sharrows, modernization of two existing rectangular rapid flashing beacons, replacement of 10 wheelchair ramps, a new pedestrian crossing at Pecan Avenue and Shenandoah Avenue, implementation of new bike detection cameras, a new full traffic signal at Bascom Street and 7th Street, and a curb extension located at the intersection of Pecan Avenue and 8th Street.

This project will provide pedestrian and bicycle facilities on Sunset Road from Day Lilly Lane to Beatties Ford Road.

Micromobility technology solutions to assist in analyzing and managing shared mobility devices within Charlotte’s right-of-way.

Technology solutions to assist the Charlotte team in creating a digital inventory of the Uptown Charlotte curbs and deploying intelligent sensor-based infrastructure to assess curb usage and demands.

Curbside Management technology solutions to assist in creating a digital inventory of the Uptown Charlotte curb, analyze and monitor the curb, and/or deploy intelligent sensor-based infrastructure to assess curb usage and demands.

Based on repair needs identified in Inspection Reports, the Consultant shall prepare technical plans and specifications (“Construction Documents”) for the required repairs to the City’s bridges. The Consultant shall prepare two (2) bid documents (including one for guardrail work) that shall include the technical
plans and specifications for the bid packages for each bridge, as well as bid information/requirements for potential contractors. The Consultant shall plan completion dates for each bridge so that all bridge repairs will be completed by the contractor before the beginning of the next inspection cycle.
