Stowe Regional Water Resource Recovery Facility is a new 15 million gallons per day greenfield facility that will serve as CLTWater’s 6th Water Resource Recovery Facility. Stowe Regional Water Resource Recovery Facility will not have solids treatment onsite. The Stowe Regional Water Resource Recovery Facility solids pump station will send the solids stream to another CLTWater water resource recovery facility for treatment. This is a hard bid construction project to build the first phase of the offsite forcemain.

The City of Charlotte (City) plans to contract with one or more firm(s) to provide On-Call grounds maintenance services for various locations within the City of Charlotte and surrounding areas.
The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials required to provide Grounds Maintenance for city owned properties. consists of but may not be limited to grounds maintenance, turf maintenance, shrub maintenance, groundcover maintenance, perennial maintenance, trash and debris removal, storm debris pickup, irrigation maintenance/ repair/operation, snow and ice removal, tree maintenance, and mulching, pesticide and herbicide application.
The Contractor agrees to an understanding of the current edition of the City of Charlotte-Landscape Management Division’s Landscape Construction Standards and to comply with the specifications and requirements described in this Contract.
The Contractor shall comply with applicable laws regulating the practice of pesticide applications as required by the NCDA. The Contractor will be required to continuously have at least one full-time employee on staff with the required license throughout the entire term of the contract.

The City of Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT) is responsible for the removal of snow and ice on City maintained streets. Additional resources are needed to clear streets during extraordinary winter weather events. Conservation of Tyvola Station Wayfinding Art
Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Art in Transit is inviting qualified conservators to submit proposals to evaluate and restore a sculpture by the late artist, Dennis Oppenheim. The mixed media sculpture was installed at the Tyvola Station on the LYNX Blue Line Light Rail in 2007.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify a qualified conservation professional and select the candidate with expertise needed to restore the sculpture to the artist’s original intent.
CATS is a department of the City of Charlotte, who owns and operates the City’s public transportation modes including light rail, streetcar, and bus transit. Art in Transit (AiT) is a program within CATS that is dedicated to the integration of public art within CATS’ capital projects. Art in Transit is responsible for coordination and oversight of the installation as well as
the care and maintenance of the CATS Public Art collection.

Medical and Protective Gloves – CANCELLED
Protective gloves are necessary to provide appropriate safeguards for City employees. Departments require a wide variety of materials designed for many types of workplace hazards. Employee safety and productivity are enhanced by additional application requirements for performance, fit and comfort. Medical gloves are a critical supply item for the Charlotte Fire Department and are carried on all fire trucks to be used when treating individuals with medical emergencies. It is critical from a risk management standpoint that firefighters wear an approved glove that provides a high degree of protection.
The scope of this Request for Quote (RFQ) is to establish a contract for the purchase and delivery of protective and medical gloves within fourteen (14) calendar days from the placement of order.
This solicitation will be distributed to the City’s Small Business Enterprise (SBE) confirmed vendor list for Protective and Medical Gloves.
This selection will consist of two separate types of work. The general scope of work for each generally includes:
Urban Design Services
The urban design services may be used for multiple projects and will be a task order-based agreement. This selected consultant(s) will support the city by providing services that encompass planning, economic development urban design, historic preservation and placemaking. Projects will range in scope and size.
Grant Preparation Services
The city has applied for various state and federal grants (SS4A, RAISE, etc.) and is looking for consultant(s) to provide assistance with grant preparation services for future applications. The selected consultants will be expected to lead the effort in coordination with city staff to provide all services needed to apply for various state and federal grants. It is anticipated that multiple consultants may be selected for this task.
