This opportunity will establish on-call electronic repair services, specifically for aviation and HVAC electronic equipment and devices.  These services will include troubleshooting and repairing electronics on a circuit board level.

The resulting contract is anticipated to be an initial three (3) year term with two (2) – one (1) year renewal options.

Provide air filtration products and perform quarterly changes of these air filtration products for the air handling units which condition the air for the main terminal building, five concourses, and the CLT Center. Provide the labor to install the new air filters and to dispose of the old air filters from each of the air handling units in the service areas.

Three (3) year term with two (2) additional one (1) year renewals.

The Charlotte Fire Department is requesting a new contract for firefighting foam services. Work to be performed under this contract is to purchase firefighting foam concentrate. The foam is used to extinguish flammable liquid fires and prevent fires from hydrocarbon fuel spills. This product is standardized within CFD and is carried on all engines, ladders, tankers, and several specialized units.

The objective of this RFP is to solicit Proposals that will enable the City to determine which Company(s) and Proposed Solution(s) will best meet the City’s needs for the delivery and setup of traffic control devices in work zones and special event locations as well as the provision of flaggers and other personnel to maintain work zones. The services generally consist of as-needed temporary traffic control services including the rental of arrow signs and portable changeable message signs (PSMS) for scheduled and emergency infrastructure maintenance and for other events requiring the diversion of traffic, lane closures, or notice to the public.  This includes the placement and removal of traffic control devices by qualified personnel as well as the flagging of traffic.  This will include all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to safely route traffic through CDOT work zones or special event areas.

Protective gloves are necessary to provide appropriate safeguards for City employees. Departments require a wide variety of materials designed for many types of workplace hazards. Employee safety and productivity are enhanced by additional application requirements for performance, fit and comfort.   Medical gloves are a critical supply item for the Charlotte Fire Department and are carried on all fire trucks to be used when treating individuals with medical emergencies.   It is critical from a risk management standpoint that firefighters wear an approved glove that provides a high degree of protection.

The scope of this Request for Quote (RFQ) is to establish a contract for the purchase and delivery of protective and medical gloves within fourteen (14) calendar days from the placement of order.

This solicitation will be distributed to the City’s Small Business Enterprise (SBE) confirmed vendor list for  Protective and Medical Gloves.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) will be formally soliciting to select a qualified consultant to assist with yearly rank testing, specifically developing and implementing the testing materials for yearly Promotional Processes for the ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant and Captain. Multiple processes may be run over the course of a calendar year depending upon the needs of CMPD.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services will be requesting proposals from qualified companies interested in providing Professional Engineering Services for Various Storm Water Services Projects. The selected firm/s will use HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, and/or a hydraulic grade line closed system computer model, or an approved alternative method, and all methods will be per the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Design Manual. The city’s then-current AutoCAD standards will be used to produce all plans and profiles. The selected company(ies) may be required to pursue stream restoration and enhancement for mitigation credit per NCDEQ and USACE requirements, where appropriate.

Project descriptions for all three Scopes of Services will be found within the solicitation document. The projects are anticipated to be assigned and initiated under each Scope of Services but are subject to change based on future Capital Improvement Project priorities and funding.
