DeArmon Road Improvements Project
The DeArmon Road Improvements Project is part of the City of Charlotte’s Prosperity Village Comprehensive Neighborhood Improvement Program. The project will complete the infrastructure needs in the neighborhood by providing buffered bicycle lanes, median/turning lane, storm drainage, curb & gutter, sidewalk and a greenway passage beneath DeArmon Road for the future extension of Clark’s Creek Greenway.

West Ramp Dual Taxi Lanes (Construction)
As part of the West Ramp Dual Taxilanes Project at CLT, this construction package will include widening of the ramp adjacent to Concourse A to allow parallel taxi operations. The project includes erosion and sedimentation control, grading, drainage, pipe lining of a large drainage pipe, installation of new airfield concrete, full-depth replacement of portions of existing airfield concrete, asphalt paving, marking, and airfield lighting/signage.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is seeking a qualified airport consulting team to provide design and construction administration services (“Services”) for the third phase of gate expansions to Concourse A. It is essential that the design and configuration of the concourse has adequate aircraft parking depth, taxi lane circulation, and service vehicle circulation, in order to ensure an efficient operation, as well as provide flexibility for changes in aircraft fleet mix, design requirements, and potential changes in forecasted growth

Sharon Road at Eastburn Road Improvements
This project is located on Sharon Road at Eastburn Road. The project proposes a curve realignment adding a left-turn lane from Sharon Road on to Eastburn Road and removing the superelevation.
The Charlotte Area Transit System is soliciting proposals for the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Grant Program (Section 5310). Section 5310 funds are available for capital and operating expenses to support transportation projects that meet the special transportation needs of seniors (individuals 65 years and older) and individuals with disabilities. All projects must be situated in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Urbanized area and must be derived from the Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan for the Charlotte Urbanized Area (FY2022-FY2027). Eligible subrecipients include state or local government organizations, private nonprofit organizations, and operators of public transportation.
