The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified vendors to provide an On-Duty Scheduling Software System for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. The system will be used to schedule, manage, and track law enforcement officers’ shifts, ensuring optimal staffing, and compliance with operational needs. The software will be user-friendly, secure, and scalable, with features that streamline scheduling processes and improve overall efficiency in workforce management.

The City of Charlotte requires Sodium Chloride Salt for deicing City streets and roads, and as a preventative measure for any anticipated snowy or icy street conditions. This solicitation is to provide bulk tonnage delivery of Sodium Chloride Deicing Salt that has been treated with an anti-caking agent to the addresses specified by the Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT). The contract established will be for three years with the option for two (2) one-year renewal options.

To provide Charlotte Water Facilities with immediate on-call repair and corrective maintenance services on an as-needed basis.  The Company will be responsible for providing repair/and or corrective services in order to complete necessary projects to ensure reliable operations at Charlotte Water’s water treatment plants, water intakes, tank sites, booster stations, wastewater treatment plants, package plants and lift stations.

The Company shall provide repair Services for HVAC systems at all
Charlotte Area Transit System Facilities. Repair services shall be
comprehensive of all tasks necessary to ensure HVAC systems regain
operational status at their established capacity and efficiency. Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards shall be followed, including reference to capacity and efficiency ratings. Charlotte Area Transit System has several different types and sizes of HVAC systems located throughout the City of Charlotte.

This construction project is located just east of downtown along an unnamed tributary to Little Sugar Creek on Louise Ave. The purpose and need for the project is to improve the storm drainage infrastructure (i.e. pipe systems and culverts) to reduce flooding and to enhance degraded stream reaches to reduce erosion and improve water quality.

The Craighead/Tryon Storm Drainage Improvement Project is bordered by Glory Street to the north, Little Sugar Creek to the south, Sugar Creek Road to the east and Craighead Road to the west. The existing drainage system consists of pipe system under city-maintained road, state-maintained road, and private property. The improvements include pipe system upgrades.

Collective Storm Drainage Improvement Projects Series AE will involve 3 projects throughout the City of Charlotte, 3880 Jeff Adams Dr, 4440 Holbrook Dr, 4611 Denver Av Phase 2. 3880 Jeff Adams Drive will consist of lining approx. 562 LF 54″ CMP with CIPP. Also to include lining 12″ and 15″ systems that tie into main 54” system. We will also be doing invert repair in 54″ pipe where it has eroded. This project will need traffic control along Jeff Adams during construction and foundation protection on the permanent structure located on site. MH and DI adjustments are included in this scope along with asphalt resurfacing around them. 4440 Holbrook Drive scope will include installation of approx. 165LF 30″ RCP; 65LF 36″ RCP; 110LF 29×45 Elliptical pipe; 11LF 24″ RCP; 12LF 18″ RCP; 28LF 15″ RCP. Approx 200 LF of 30” RCP and 15” RCP will be removed and another approx. 200LF of RCP is to be plugged and abandoned. Scope also intends to replace approx. 105LF of sewer with 8” DIP and replace (2) sewer manholes. Storm drainage structure replacement, foundation protection, asphalt resurfacing and curb and gutter replacement to also be included. 4611 Denver Av Phase 2 scope will include removal of approx. 75 LF of duel 60” CMP and installation of 65LF of a 10×5 RCBC. Project to include approx. 314 LF of sewer replacement and (6) MHs. Scope also to include concrete headwalls and full-depth pavement resurfacing.

This construction project is located near Eastway Drive and Shamrock Drive and involves addressing a deteriorated corrugated metal pipe system located within the Shamrock Gardens Apartment complex as well as flooding of multiple roadway crossings. An analysis of existing conditions will be performed to determine portions of the storm drainage system needing improvement, planning analysis of improvement alternatives, design and construction of needed improvements. The Shamrock Gardens Storm Drainage Improvement Project is bordered by Purser Drive to the north, Shamrock Drive to the south, Briar Creek to the east and Eastway Drive to the west.

This project involves providing sewer flow monitoring services and rain measurement at both temporary and permanent locations.
It encompasses the deployment, maintenance, and retrieval of flow monitoring and rain gauge equipment. Qualified professionals are needed to evaluate the flow monitoring data.
Overall, the project aims to enhance monitoring accuracy and efficiency.
