Charlotte Water is accepting bids for copper tubing for its Field Operations Division. Inventory is purchased as needed and priced per linear foot.

This RFP seeks to establish a contract for a robust and efficient E-Procurement System. The new solution will support the city’s procurement needs while ensuring efficiency, compliance, and scalability. The selected solution must be cloud-based, user-friendly, provide real-time seamless integration with Workday Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), E-Builder, DocuSign, and B2G Now, and be compatible with existing workflows, financial systems, and reporting structures.

The Project consists of the installation of approximately 218 linear feet of trench drains within various buildings located at Charlotte Water’s: Irwin Creek WWTP – 4200 Westmont Drive, Charlotte, NC 28217 – Primary Sludge Pump Station, Grit Washdown Building, and Digestor Control Building. McAlpine Creek WWMF – 12701 Lancaster Hwy, Pineville, NC 28134- Dewatering Building, Sodium Bisulfite Building, and Gravity Thickener Pump Station.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport (“CLT”) intends to post a Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) for the rehabilitation of Runway 18L/36R and Taxiway D design.  The scope of this work to be designed will include but is not limited to asphalt milling, paving, airfield electrical work, and pavement makings.

The project is located at 5430 Amado and in the Pennwood Lane Cul-de-sac and continues through the backyards to provide drainage to the channel downstream. The project involves storm drainage improvements to improve the storm drainage system in the roadway, to repair failing infrastructure and to improve drainage to the downstream channel.

Work performed under this contract will consist of nine (9) storm drainage improvement projects (point repair) throughout Charlotte, NC as illustrated in the plans of the contract documents. Work will involve mobilization, earthwork, drainage structures, storm drain pipe systems, channels, working over, under, near, and around existing private utilities, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, landscaping and any associated work required by the respective project plan.

This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is issued by the City of Charlotte (“City”), the owner and operator of Charlotte Douglas International Airport (the “Airport” or “CLT”) to acquire the services of a Construction Manager at Risk (“Firm”) for a new Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (“ARFF”) Station 47 (the “Project”). The Guaranteed Maximum Price (“GMP”) estimate for the project is $26,000,000. The City is accepting Statements of Qualifications (“SOQ” or “Proposal”) from Firms (or multiple Firms comprising a “Project Team”) whose combination of experience and personnel will provide timely and effective construction management services to the City for this Project.

Taxiway Shoulder Pavement Repair Phase II includes the pavement repair of identified taxiway shoulders, runway shoulders, and a blast pad. The Project does not include providing or installing pavement markings, either new or the restoration of damaged existing markings.  The bidder will be expected to reasonably avoid damaging existing pavement markings when possible.  The Charlotte Douglas Airport (CLT) Airfield Maintenance (AFM) staff will install all necessary pavement markings as well as perform any electrical operations.
