Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Facility (ARFF)
This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is issued by the City of Charlotte (“City”), the owner and operator of Charlotte Douglas International Airport (the “Airport” or “CLT”) to acquire the services of a Construction Manager at Risk (“Firm”) for a new Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (“ARFF”) Station 47 (the “Project”). The Guaranteed Maximum Price (“GMP”) estimate for the project is $26,000,000. The City is accepting Statements of Qualifications (“SOQ” or “Proposal”) from Firms (or multiple Firms comprising a “Project Team”) whose combination of experience and personnel will provide timely and effective construction management services to the City for this Project.

Asphalt Shoulder Rehabilitation-Phase II
Taxiway Shoulder Pavement Repair Phase II includes the pavement repair of identified taxiway shoulders, runway shoulders, and a blast pad. The Project does not include providing or installing pavement markings, either new or the restoration of damaged existing markings. The bidder will be expected to reasonably avoid damaging existing pavement markings when possible. The Charlotte Douglas Airport (CLT) Airfield Maintenance (AFM) staff will install all necessary pavement markings as well as perform any electrical operations.

Citywide Survey Services
The City of Charlotte is interested in receiving bids for City Survey Services. Various City Departments require citizen, employee, or business surveys throughout the year. These surveys gauge opinion
on numerous topics regarding City services and performance.
Overall Project Description.
The requirements indicated below apply to all Services and what shall be adhered to, at a minimum, by the Company:
Conduct or facilitate meetings with the City Project Manager and City staff to assess specific questions or topics concerning the survey process, establishment of questions, objectives, and survey timelines;
After the initial consultation, recommend survey questions, objectives, design, and methodology, subject to City Project Manager approval;
Develop a sample survey for review by the City Project Manager;
Review survey questions with the Department to ensure a reduction in duplication efforts in content and timing;
Identify and select a random sample of all recipients to be surveyed. The sampling shall include various demographics;
Guarantee that results will provide the City with, at minimum, a ninety-five percent (95%) confidence level;
Provide City Project Manager with an electronic copy of the data in a format acceptable to the City; and
Conduct a formal presentation of survey results to the City Project Manager and City staff upon completion of Services.

This project will replace to existing culverts that have reached the end of their serviceable lifespan at two locations along Thermal Road with new reinforced concrete pipe culverts.

Collective AC Storm Drainage Improvement Program
Collective Storm Drainage Improvement Projects Series AC will involve 3 projects throughout the City of Charlotte, 1925 Arnold Drive, 10112 Fairway Ridge, and 1127 Willhaven Drrive 1925 Arnold Drive will involve new drainage structures and reinforced concrete pipe, a modified pipe alignment, new curb and gutter, concrete driveway replacement, sanitary sewer replacement as well as full depth asphalt replacement along Arnold Drive 10112 Fairway Ridge will involve new drainage structures and elliptical reinforced concrete pipe, a modified pipe alignment, sanitary sewer replacement, concrete driveway and full depth asphalt replacement along Fairway Ridge. 1127 Willhaven Drive will consist of reinforced concrete pipe and drainage structure installation, ditch grading, full-depth asphalt replacement as well as curb and gutter replacement along Willhaven Drive. There will be 2 culvert replacements not located along Willhaven Drive, 1 will be a driveway culvert located at 5328 Randolph Road and the other will be crossing under Crestbrook Drive. Both culverts will consist of reinforced concrete pipe, drainage structures, asphalt replacement, and channel grading. The culvert under Crestbrook Drive will also require curb and gutter as well as sidewalk replacement.

Work performed under this contract will consist of storm water infrastructure repair and improvement projects within the city limits of Charlotte, NC. Work will involve mobilization, earthwork, drainage structures, storm drain pipe systems, channels, working over, under, near, and around existing private utilities, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, , and landscaping and any associated work required by the Engineer. Other work may include structural foundation protection, storm water pipe lining, storm water pipe joint and structure repair, water and sewer (relocations, installations and adjustments). Storm Water maintenance work may be located entirely within or a combination of the street right-of-way, private, residential and commercial properties.

Brass Parts and Fittings
Establish a contract for the purchase and delivery of Brass parts and fittings. Ford, McDonald and, where specified, Mueller models have been tested and evaluated by Charlotte Water and determined to be the best Brass Parts and Fittings for the department. Ford, McDonald and, where specified, Mueller models are the only manufacturers/models that will be acceptable for this project.
Work performed under this contract will consist of nine (9) storm drainage improvement projects (point repair) throughout Charlotte, NC as illustrated in the plans of the contract documents. Work will involve mobilization, earthwork, drainage structures, storm drain pipe systems, channels, working over, under, near, and around existing private utilities, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, landscaping and any associated work required by the respective project plan.
