McAlpine Creek WRRF Digesters Rehabilitation
The McAlpine Digesters Rehabilitation project focuses on restoring key components of the biosolids treatment facilities. This includes structural repairs and a new cover for the first digested sludge storage tank, along with installation of new sludge pumps, valves, and piping. The project also replaces an outdated programmable logic controller system and adds a new sludge line to separate gravity-fed and pumped flows. Additional improvements include a new dewatering well system for draining the storage tanks and structural evaluation and repairs to the second digested sludge storage tank.

McDowell Creek WRRF Digesters Rehabilitation
This will be an Invitation to Bid for Charlotte Water. The project will involve the rehabilitation of biosolids treatment facilities at the McDowell Creek Water Resource Recovery Facility. Work will focus on existing digesters and may include structural repairs, floor regrouting, replacement of mechanical components, and upgrades to valves and associated piping. Electrical and instrumentation systems will be reconnected or replaced as needed to support restored operations. These improvements aim to enhance the performance, safety, and reliability of the digester systems and associated infrastructure.

Summerlin Storm Drainage Improvement Project
The Summerlin Place Storm Drainage Improvement Project will add additional catch basins along Summerlin Place and install a new drainage system down Wessynton Dr and a small portion of Brynwood Drive. The project consists of installation of RCP, CB’s, MH’s, C&G replacement, sewer line replacement, and CIPP lining.

Collective AF Storm Drainage Improvement Project:
Collective Storm Drainage Improvement Projects Series AF will involve 3 projects throughout the City of Charlotte 6112 Bridlewood Ln, 6108 Bridlewood Ln, 6032 Bridlewood Ln. 6112 Bridlewood Ln will consist of lining approx. 149 LF 15” RCP; 243 LF 30” RCP; 151 LF 36” RCP with CIPP. Scope also includes replacing rerouting the existing system into the r/w and adding approx. 177 42” RCP and 122 LF of 34×53 elliptical pipe and storm drainage structure replacement. There will also be approx. 418 LF of sewer replacement with 8” DIP. Pavement resurfacing and curb and gutter replacement are also to be included in this project. 6108 Bridlewood Ln will consist of removing an existing CMP pipe and replacing with approx. 31 LF of 9×7 RCBC. A temporary pedestrian bridge will be added to cross the creek during time of construction for the property owners. The scope is also to include approx. 31LF of 15” RCP replacement along with replacement of (1) CB, concrete driveway replacement, curb and gutter and pavement resurfacing. There will also be grading around the existing creek that will tie into (2) new HWs. 6032 Bridlewood Ln will consist of removing an existing CMP pipe and replacing with approx. 30 LF of 9×7 RCBC. A temporary pedestrian bridge will be added to cross the creek during time of construction for the property owners. The scope is also to include concrete driveway replacement, curb and gutter, and pavement resurfacing. There will also be grading around the existing creek that will tie into (2) new HWs.

Staffing Augmentation and Recruiting Services
The City of Charlotte is seeking Companies with the ability to provide Technology and Staff Augmentation needs when supplementation of full-time City staff is necessary. Contractors shall support the City in various roles across City Departments. Staffing includes but not limited to Project Manager, Security Engineer, IT, Accounting and Financial, Skilled Trades, Laboratory and Scientific, and Administration and Clerical. For staffing assignment, Companies shall receive a detailed scope of work containing the specific needs and objectives for the Contractor.
The City is interested in awarding multiple contracts for these services. These contracts will be for a three year term with the option for one, two year renewal.

McAlpine WWTP Biosolids Treatment Facility Reliability
This will be an Invitation to Bid for Charlotte Water. This project will involve the rehabilitation of Biosolids Treatment Facilities. Facilities generally include digesters, digester control buildings, biogas conditioning facilities, digested sludge storage tanks, and dewatering buildings.

Multi-space Parking Kiosk
A pay station parking kiosk that serves multiple parking spaces. It will allow parkers to start a pay-by-plate parking session via a touchscreen or keyboard input. The Kiosks should have the ability to be informational and integrate with other mobility options.
The Ashe Plantation Lift Station project involves the design, bidding, and construction of a new lift station utilizing the existing wet well built during Phase I of the Ashe Plantation Wastewater Treatment Plant. The proposed system is a duplex lift station with a capacity of 320 gallons per minute, which will connect to an 8-inch forcemain. This new infrastructure will convey wastewater to the Goose Creek basin. As part of the project, the existing package treatment plant will be decommissioned.
