Transportation Asset Collection
The chosen vendor will provide a segmented inventory of the following transportation assets.
A condition analysis of the assets will be included with the inventory The analysis will provide a database of information that will be utilized for work management as well as emergency services during hazardous conditions.
The vendor will provide separate ESRI geodatabases with each asset category. Specific table schemas for each asset will be determined prior to data collection.

NBIS Bridge Inspection Program -Qualifying
Part of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) mandates that bridges and culverts are inspected every two years. Bridges are inspected for structural adequacy, safety, and functionality.
The City Council will seek contracts for the design and construction of needed repairs related to bridge inspection contracts.

Storm Water Channel Cleaning Services
Storm Water Services is accepting proposals to contract for an ongoing maintenance program to remove and dispose of debris in existing storm water channels within the city limits of Charlotte. Each request is investigated and prioritized based on the severity of potential public/private property flooding.

NPDES MS4 SCM Compliance Software Solution
The City is seeking a software solution to support compliance with our NPDES MS4 permit, which mandates the tracking and enforcement of annual inspections for Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs). The required system must be capable of managing SCM records, supporting inspection workflows, and generating permit-compliant reports.

CTC Fare Zone Striping
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) anticipates contracting out the following work:
The CTC Fare Zone Striping project is a part off safety and security improvements at the Charlotte Transportation Center that will include the installation of the following approximate quantities of heated-in-place thermoplastic markings:
-950 linear feet of customized 2′-wide blue striping labeled with “FARE ZONE”;
-470 linear feet of pedestrian crosswalk (8 separate crosswalks); and
-920 linear feet of safety yellow striping for 23 bus bays.
Other additional work includes the installation of 31 yellow truncated domes, removal of existing crosswalk striping, and providing 121 linear feet of additional blue “FARE ZONE” striping to be turned over to CATS.
Heat-in-place thermoplastic will be installed per NCDOT specifications. The crosswalk and truncated dome will match the City of Charlotte Land Development Standards.

Automotive Parts and Accessories and related services
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Bus Operations Division (BOD) anticipates soliciting for automotive parts and accessories and all related products and services for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles to the City of Charlotte. The City’s Transit department requires a broad variety of light, medium, heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. Contractor would need to bid on the entire line of manufacturer lines of products and components to accommodate the City’s requirements.

Belmont Lift Station and Force Main
This project will deliver a new lift station and force main to convey wastewater flow from the City of Belmont to Charlotte Water’s Stowe Regional Wastewater Reclamation Facility via Charlotte Water’s Paw Creek Pump Station. This project will allow the existing Belmont Wastewater Treatment Plant to be decommissioned and eliminate the need for costly improvements at this facility. Due to separate funding sources, the project will be delivered via Design-Bid-Build delivery method through two phases of design and three separate construction contracts.

Franklin WTP 24 MOD Improvements
This project will include the installation of 39 new valves inside of the 24 MOD. The existing valves have reached their useful life. These valves have been purchased separately by Charlotte Water.
This contract is for materials driver feedback signs for CDOT’s portable Driver Feedback Signs inventory. These battery-powered radar signs are deployed throughout the city. The CDOT Traffic Safety Section selects the corridors for up to six weeks per location.
