Replacement of the North Davidson Bus Wash
CATS is requesting to replace one drive through vehicle wash (bus wash) unit with a new more efficient drive through vehicle wash (bus wash) to be placed inside the existing wash building. The unit will be replacing a single drive through wash bay in a two drive through wash bay system located at 929 North Davidson Street, Charlotte NC 28206. Site work to include demolition, mobilization, staging, removal and on site storage (CATS provided) of removed vehicle wash (bus wash). Demolition/Equipment Removal: Remove and properly store/dispose (CATS discretion) of the existing drive through vehicle wash.

911 Georgetown Storm Drainage Improvement Project
The purpose and need for this construction project is to improve the storm drainage infrastructure (i.e. pipe systems and culverts) to reduce flooding and to enhance degraded stream reaches to reduce erosion and improve water quality. This project is under review. Location and project details will be provided after review is complete.

Carolina Aviation Museum Hangar Restoration – CANCELLED
This project’s purpose is to provide a ‘shell restoration’ of the Historic 1938 Aircraft Hangar located on CLT property and will include adaptive reuse of the hangar to maintain the local historic designation and bring the structure up to code making it shell space ready for future interior upfit.

Graham Street Extension Intelligent Transportation Systems
This project will install single‐mode fiber optic cable in existing conduits. This project includes entrances and interconnect equipment for existing traffic signal control cabinets and the installation of traffic management cameras. This project also includes fiber optic cable splicing, testing, Ethernet communications equipment, traffic management camera equipment and other related activities.

Fire PT Uniforms
The Charlotte Fire Department (CFD) provides physical fitness training uniforms to all new and current employees on an annual basis for required on-the-job physical training and recruit school. The uniform items consists of sweatshirts, sweat pants, training shorts, and tee shirts. The uniforms will require screen-printing of the CFD logos onto the garments. Short sleeve and long sleeve tee shirts are also provided as part of the employee’s uniform allotment. This will be a contract for a period of three years with the option to extend the contract for two additional one-year terms.

McAlpine Creek Wastewater Management Facility Waste Activated Sludge E ... McAlpine Creek Wastewater Management Facility Waste Activated Sludge Equalization and Blending and Odor Control Improvements
The Waste Activated Sludge (WAS) Equalization and Blending and Odor Control Improvements Project includes upgrades to several facilities at the McAlpine Creek Wastewater Management Facility (WWMF). Primary components include construction of a new cast in place concrete WAS equalization structure with multiple tanks/cells with mixers and pumps to allow for equalization and blending of WAS from the McAlpine Creek WWMF, Sugar Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and in the future the Irwin Creek WWTP. Adjacent to this structure is a blending basin pump station which will convey blended WAS to the existing solids treatment process and in the future to the planned Thermal Hydrolysis Process. In addition, the project includes a new wet scrubber chemical odor control system for the Screening and Grit Facility, new duct work to this system from the south plant primary clarifiers and gravity thickeners as well as the rehabilitation of the Consolidated Influent Pump Station (CIPS) odor scrubber system.

The scope of this contract shall be to furnish all supervision, labor, materials, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, and applicable licenses and permits necessary to perform the services at CLT Airport and CATS. The Company shall be responsible for the removal and disposal of all dead pests on the job site of the type that are covered under this contract. The contract term will be three years with the option to renew for two additional one-year terms.

The Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT) Street Maintenance Division (SMD) is responsible for the maintenance of more than 2,200 miles of sidewalks and more than 7,000 accessible ramps within the City of Charlotte. The scope of this work consists of the removal of concrete tripping hazards from sidewalks, curb ramps, and concrete curbing that the City agents have identified. All work produced must be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements for slope and Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements for traction. The company will be responsible for all traffic control in accordance with the most recent Work Area Traffic Control Handbook (WATCH). Any debris resulting from the removal of trip hazards must be removed in a legal manner.
