The Airport is requesting statements of qualifications for the purpose of selecting a Company(s) to provide On-Call Planning Services. The company(s) will provide, on an as-needed basis, professional planning support services. All services required will be scoped and funded by individual Task Orders issued by the airport. The selected Company(s) will be an external source of planning expertise and assistance to the Airport’s Planning Section, which is a subdivision of the Development Division. The company(s) will work at the direction of the Airport’s Planning and Environmental Manager and their team.

Ticketing and Baggage, the Atrium, and six (6) concourses with a seventh concourse commissioning shortly after award. There are approximately sixty (60) trees.

This project will install sidewalk and multi-use paths in three locations within the University Research Park area. Locations will include a 6′ concrete sidewalk along Medical Plaza Drive between Harris Boulevard and Mallard Creek Road, a 12′ concrete multi-use path from the intersection of David Taylor Drive and Claude Freeman Drive to the intersection of Governor Hunt Road and David Taylor Drive and a 12′ concrete multi-use path along Claude Freeman Drive from the intersection of David Taylor Drive and Claude Freeman Drive to the first business entrance at the Left side of Claude Freeman Drive. (10330 David Taylor Dr). This project will also install curb ramps, retaining wall, curb and gutter, extension of 3 culverts, concrete headwall, pedestrian lighting and related works.

South Ramp Expansion (Design)
The South Ramp Expansion is proposed to improve the aircraft circulation on the east and west sides of the airfield. In addition, the South Ramp Expansion will facilitate the proposed extensions to Concourse B and Concourse C, and ultimately the development of a satellite concourse.
The following work elements are included in the project:
The selected Final Design Engineer or Engineer of Record (EOR or Consultant) will produce construction documents to be issued for competitive bidding of one or multiple construction packages, followed by conformed or released for construction plans issued to the responsive or responsible bidder for construction. The design and documents are to be based on preliminary design or bridging documents prepared by the Owner’s Master Civil Engineer (Aviation Consulting Engineers, LLC, or ACE). The preliminary design effort will include completion of the design geotechnical subsurface investigation, preliminary design plans to a 30% level of completion, pavement design, and preliminary surveys. Final design surveys, including pavement tie-ins, etc. will be the responsibility of the Consultant.
Charlotte Water has 12 buildings at Sugar, Irwin, Mallard, and McAlpine Waste Water Treatment Plants (WWTPs) that are in need of roofing replacement or repair. The majority of these roofing systems are over 20 years old. These roofs are aging, failing, and in need of replacement or repairs.
Charlotte Water is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified engineering companies (Company or Proposer) to provide Professional Engineering Services for the Building Roof Replacements Project. The selected Firm(s) shall provide at a minimum, preliminary engineering and evaluation, detailed design, permitting, bidding phase services, and construction phase services.
