The intent of the manual review and revision is to not duplicate the old manual based on an Engineering Handbook perspective, but the context should be more of a supporting guide for following CMSWS local engineering specific details, practices and implementation of drainage design.

The scope of work is to include the following assumptions:

1.) Creation of a report process that will provide a snapshot of capital projects,

2.) Enhancements to existing processes,

This project will address the non-conforming, physical ADA barriers to the greatest extent feasible and where applicable under code provisions. Phase 1  addressed barriers in the Charlotte Mecklenburg Government Center  Chamber Space, while this Phase 2 addresses all other spaces, including the adjacent parking garage.  Scope areas include Exterior Plaza, Entrance Lobby, 2nd Floor Mezzanine and the 14-story Highrise. Specific scope includes, but is not limited to, Partitions, Doors and Door Hardware, Ramps, Millwork, Restrooms, Controlled Access, Obstructions, Plaza Deck and Accessible Routes. The project delivery method will be Construction Manager at Risk. A separate RFQ will be solicited for these services.
