This project will enhance the current lighting around the Overlook site. The scope will include replacing a portion of existing light poles, foundations, and bollards with new poles and fixtures to better illuminate the overlook playground, memorial, and turf area.

The Office of Sustainability and Resilience (OSR), as part of the Special Initiatives Department, is responsible for guiding the implementation of the Strategic Energy Action Plan+. SEAP+ goals are integrated across the community, including internal and external partnerships and connections throughout the city organization, business community, and residents. To support implementation of this updated plan, the city’s OSR is issuing this RFP for as-needed sustainability support consulting services.

The city is seeking to enter into on-call contracts with two or more firms, on a negotiated Task Order, project-by-project basis, under the awarded contract(s). The City will issue Task Orders with details concerning the services to be provided by the Consultant. Each Task Order will identify key staff who will be assigned by the Consultant to work on the specific project identified in the Task Order.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport (“CLT”) intends to post a Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) for the rehabilitation of Runway 18L/36R and Taxiway D design.  The scope of this work to be designed will include but is not limited to asphalt milling, paving, airfield electrical work, and pavement makings.

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified vendors to provide an On-Duty Scheduling Software System for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. The system will be used to schedule, manage, and track law enforcement officers’ shifts, ensuring optimal staffing, and compliance with operational needs. The software will be user-friendly, secure, and scalable, with features that streamline scheduling processes and improve overall efficiency in workforce management.

The City of Charlotte is looking for qualified Service Providers to work in conjunction with Fleet Management to perform complete turnkey collision repairs and related services (excluding any City applied graphics), on the City’s various makes and models of vehicles. Service Providers shall pick-up and deliver vehicles, as well as perform all collision repairs at their facilities. Collision repairs may include, but are not restricted to, frame, cooling systems and lines, frame, engine components, transmission, steering, cooling systems, and related parts repairs or replacement. Services shall adhere to any related OEM requirements and/or recommendations.

City and County vehicles include but are not restricted to, Police vehicles, Fire vehicles, general staff cars, various pickup trucks, medium trucks, and medium duty transportation buses, all of various makes, models, and applications. As makes, models, and quantities are subject to change, the Service Provider is required to maintain facilities, inventory, training, and related equipment necessary to accommodate a variety of vehicles.

The Project consists of an undetermined number of individual projects consisting of water and/or sewer extensions,
water and/or sewer replacements, low-pressure sanitary sewer, water distribution system reliability
improvement projects, and/or sanitary sewer capacity assurance projects, which will be assigned by the
Project Engineer.

This construction project is located just east of downtown along an unnamed tributary to Little Sugar Creek on Louise Ave. The purpose and need for the project is to improve the storm drainage infrastructure (i.e. pipe systems and culverts) to reduce flooding and to enhance degraded stream reaches to reduce erosion and improve water quality.

Collective Storm Drainage Improvement Projects Series AF will involve 3 projects throughout the City of Charlotte 6112 Bridlewood Ln, 6108 Bridlewood Ln, 6032 Bridlewood Ln. 6112 Bridlewood Ln will consist of lining approx. 149 LF 15” RCP; 243 LF 30” RCP; 151 LF 36” RCP with CIPP. Scope also includes replacing rerouting the existing system into the r/w and adding approx. 177 42” RCP and 122 LF of 34×53 elliptical pipe and storm drainage structure replacement. There will also be approx. 418 LF of sewer replacement with 8” DIP. Pavement resurfacing and curb and gutter replacement are also to be included in this project. 6108 Bridlewood Ln will consist of removing an existing CMP pipe and replacing with approx. 31 LF of 9×7 RCBC. A temporary pedestrian bridge will be added to cross the creek during time of construction for the property owners. The scope is also to include approx. 31LF of 15” RCP replacement along with replacement of (1) CB, concrete driveway replacement, curb and gutter and pavement resurfacing. There will also be grading around the existing creek that will tie into (2) new HWs. 6032 Bridlewood Ln will consist of removing an existing CMP pipe and replacing with approx. 30 LF of 9×7 RCBC. A temporary pedestrian bridge will be added to cross the creek during time of construction for the property owners. The scope is also to include concrete driveway replacement, curb and gutter, and pavement resurfacing. There will also be grading around the existing creek that will tie into (2) new HWs.
