Bridge Structures Repairs

This project involves repairing bridge structures in various locations within the city limits. This work shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to repair noted structures. Work includes but not limited to: concrete pavement repairs, asphalt surface sealing / repair / replacement, debris removal, soil / erosion repairs, bridge substructure / superstructure repairs, expansion joint repair / replacement, barrier rail repairs, guardrail repairs, cleaning and painting bridge structures, sealing concrete wearing surface, culvert repairs, and repairs as deemed necessary by the engineer; removing, containment and disposal of existing materials; seeding and mulching all grassed areas disturbed; all incidental items necessary to complete the project as specified and shown on the Bridge Structures Repair Details and Drawings.

Collective AE Storm Drainage Improvement Project

The Project consists of constructing Collective Storm Drainage Improvement Projects Series AE will involve 2 projects throughout the City of Charlotte, 4440 Holbrook Dr, 4611 Denver Av Phase 2. 4440 Holbrook Dr scope will include installation of approx. 26LF 30″ RCP; 90LF 36″ RCP; 110LF 29×45 Elliptical pipe; 7LF 24″ RCP; 77LF 15″ RCP; 29LF 15″ RCP Class IV. Approx 26 LF of 30″ RCP; 56LF 15″ RCP; 10 LF 36″ RCP will be removed and another approx. 200LF of RCP is to be plugged and abandoned. Scope also intends to replace approximately. 105LF of sewer with 8″ DIP and replace (2) sewer manholes. Storm drainage structure replacement, foundation protection, asphalt resurfacing and curb and gutter replacement to also be included. 4611 Denver Av Phase 2 scope will include removal of approximately 75 LF of duel 60″ CMP and installation of 65LF of a 10×5 RCBC. R&R 54 LF 6″ Water Main; Project to include approx. 314 LF of sewer replacement and (6) MHs. Scope also to include concrete headwalls, riprap, and full depth pavement resurfacing.concrete headwalls and full-depth pavement resurfacing.

Collective AF Storm Drainage Improvement Project:

Collective Storm Drainage Improvement Projects Series AF will involve 3 projects throughout the City of Charlotte 6112 Bridlewood Ln, 6108 Bridlewood Ln, 6032 Bridlewood Ln. 6112 Bridlewood Ln will consist of lining approx. 149 LF 15” RCP; 243 LF 30” RCP; 151 LF 36” RCP with CIPP. Scope also includes replacing rerouting the existing system into the r/w and adding approx. 177 42” RCP and 122 LF of 34×53 elliptical pipe and storm drainage structure replacement. There will also be approx. 418 LF of sewer replacement with 8” DIP. Pavement resurfacing and curb and gutter replacement are also to be included in this project. 6108 Bridlewood Ln will consist of removing an existing CMP pipe and replacing with approx. 31 LF of 9×7 RCBC. A temporary pedestrian bridge will be added to cross the creek during time of construction for the property owners. The scope is also to include approx. 31LF of 15” RCP replacement along with replacement of (1) CB, concrete driveway replacement, curb and gutter and pavement resurfacing. There will also be grading around the existing creek that will tie into (2) new HWs. 6032 Bridlewood Ln will consist of removing an existing CMP pipe and replacing with approx. 30 LF of 9×7 RCBC. A temporary pedestrian bridge will be added to cross the creek during time of construction for the property owners. The scope is also to include concrete driveway replacement, curb and gutter, and pavement resurfacing. There will also be grading around the existing creek that will tie into (2) new HWs.                

Storm Water Repair and Improvement FY2024-D

Work performed under this contract will consist of storm water infrastructure repair and improvement projects within the city limits of Charlotte, NC.  Work will involve: mobilization, earthwork, drainage structures,  storm drain pipe systems, and channels.   Additional work will include: working over, under, near, and around existing private utilities, asphalt paving concrete flatwork, landscaping, and any associated work required by the Engineer.  Other work may include structural foundation protection, storm water pipe lining, storm water pipe joint and structure repair, water and sewer (relocations, installations and adjustments).  Storm Water maintenance work may be located entirely within the street right-of-way.

FY24-3 Water Sewer Infrastructure Construction

This solicitation will consist of an undetermined number of individual projects consisting of water and/or sewer extensions, water and/or sewer replacements, low-pressure sanitary sewer, water distribution system reliability improvement projects, and/or sanitary sewer capacity assurance projects.  The projects will be assigned by the Project Engineer.

FY24-2 Water Sewer Infrastructure Construction

This solicitation will consist of an undetermined number of individual projects.  These projects will consist of water and/or sewer extensions, water and/or sewer replacements, low-pressure sanitary sewer, water distribution system reliability improvement projects, and/or sanitary sewer capacity assurance projects, which will be assigned by the Project Engineer.

FY24 Water/Sewer Infrastructure Construction – Contract 3 -CANCELLED

This contract consists of an undetermined number of individual projects consisting of water and/or sewer extensions, water and/or sewer replacements, low-pressure sanitary sewer, water distribution system reliability improvement projects, and/or sanitary sewer capacity assurance projects, which will be assigned by the Project Engineer.
