CMGC Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Project

This project is for the purchase and installation of up to twenty-five electric vehicle charging stations for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center (CMGC) Parking Deck. Scope includes all electrical infrastructure work including but not limited to electrical panels, conduits, and concrete work.

Electrical Vehicle (EV) Charging Modification

Installation of two new 150KW electrical vehicle (EV) fast chargers and six EV charging station dispensers for the electrical buses at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CDIA). The work includes, but is not limited to, the required electrical work to install two new 150KW EV chargers and six charging EV dispensers, with each of the EV chargers supporting three dispensers.

McAlpine 54″ Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Phase 4

The project consists rehabilitation of approximately 4,784 feet of 8-inch and 8,320 feet of 54-inch sanitary sewer via cured in-place pipe lining (CIPP) including all preparatory work such as sewer cleaning and television inspection, rehabilitation of connecting manholes as specified, bypass pumping of wastewater flows, and complete restoration.

Ramp Level Break Room Addition – Concourse A

The purpose of this contract will be for Concourse A Ramp Level Break Room Addition. This will add a break room and restroom for use of building maintenance staff. This will be a turnkey project for the addition one room and one restroom. This work is outlined in the narrative and drawings provided by AME Consulting Engineers. Contract term is 6 months.

SBE Targeted ITB: The City has established that this project will be targeted to City certified SBE firms only. Only firms registered and have an active SBE certification with the City of Charlotte can bid on this project.

Track 4 Fall Protection

Charlotte Area Transit System is the largest Rail Transit System in North Carolina and has various maintenance needs along the rail lines. This is a solicitation for fall protection for Track 4 in the SBLRF. This will protect personnel from falling while performing maintenance on a light rail vehicle. The selected vendor will design, engineering, fabricate, and install a fall protection system for track four (4) middle and south sections of the South Boulevard Light Rail Facility.

Biosolids Thermal Hydrolysis Process Design Build Project

Charlotte Water intends to implement the Thermal Hydrolysis Process (THP) and other biosolids treatment improvements at the McAlpine Creek Wastewater Management Facility (WWMF) utilizing the Progressive-Design-Build delivery method to create a sustainable, regionalized, diversified, and resilient biosolids management program. The project will include the design and construction of multiple facilities at the McAlpine Creek WWMF including a Pre-Dewatering building with associated process equipment, screened sludge storage tanks, THP systems as furnished by CAMBI, improvements to the existing anaerobic digester complex including steam boilers, replacement odor control facility, sidestream deammonification treatment, electrical distribution system improvements, and other ancillary components.

Old Dowd Road Relocation

One of four remaining bid packages within the North End Around Taxiway Program. The relocation of Old Dowd Road includes the construction of one two-lane bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railway (NSRR), as well as retaining structures, civil site work, and approximately 3,800 feet of a two-lane roadway connecting existing Old Dowd Road directly to Wilkinson Boulevard. The work also includes demolition of the existing bridge over the NS railroad tracks at Marshall Drive and the construction of approximately 10,000 feet of 24-inch water main and the construction of a regional detention basin.
