The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) anticipates contracting out the construction of the Hambright Park & Ride.  The proposed Hambright Park and Ride will be an approximately 460 parking space mobility hub to provide rapid transit services to the Town of Huntersville, NC and surrounding areas by utilizing the newly constructed express lane direct connect. The project will also include a new public street to access the site, driver comfort station (driver restroom facilities), internal pedestrian circulation, provisions for a mobility hub for micro-mobility options and/or shared ride services, site security and surveillance, and sustainability components.

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Rail Division anticipates contracting out LRV Wheel Tire Kits.  This will be a 3-year contract with two one-year options to maintain sets of tire wheels for on-hand inventory spares.

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Bus Operations Division (BOD) anticipates contracting out the purchase of bus batteries.  This will be a 5-year contract (3+1+1) .

PSR # 1864

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Bus Operations Division (BOD) anticipates contracting for fastener stocking service at both the South Tryon and North Davidson locations.  This would be a 7-year contract (5+1+1).

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Bus Operations Division (BOD) anticipates contracting for decals and graphics.  This would be a 5-year contract (3+1+1).

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Bus Operations Division (BOD) anticipates contracting out for the inspection and service of fire extinguishers on up to 400 vehicles at the locations of 901 North Davidson and 3145 South Tryon.  Inspections will take place annually and will be serviced if necessary.  This is a 5 year contract (3+1+1).

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Facilities Division anticipates contracting out the repair and replacement of windows and glass at various maintained facilities.

The contractor must be able to repair or replace all types of glass storefronts and doors and associated glass accessories or products, including but not limited to:
• Bus Shelters
• Store fronts/Aluminum Doors,
• Commercial Glass Doors,
• Frameless Glass Doors,
• Commercial Glass Walls,
• Commercial Mirror Walls,
• Interior Glass Systems,
• Back Painted Glass,
• Curtain Walls / Skylights,
• Specialty Glass (examples: acrylic, lexan, insulated, impact/bullet-resistant),
• Windows of all types, including single and double pane,
• Window screens, new and rescreened,
• Marker Boards,
• Glass trophy cases, show cases and glass shelves, and
• Typical associated glass accessories or products.

Services shall include, but not be limited to:
• Door repair, replacement or renovation,
• Window repair, replacement or renovation,
• Storefront repair, replacement or renovation,
• Water Intrusion Repair, and
• Emergency Repairs and Board-Up services.

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) anticipates contracting out the repair of the Little Sugar Creek Bridge scour.

PSR # 1843

The project will include construction up-fits at the North Yard Facility with intentions of utilizing the area as storage for CATS. The storage yard, also known as the North Yard Annex, will be a secured and monitored area with access control, security lighting, CCTV cameras, fencing, and power supply capable of providing climate control measures to material as needed.
