Work performed under this transportation repair (TR) contract will consist of storm water infrastructure maintenance, repair and maintenance projects within the city limits of Charlotte, NC. Work will involve mobilization, earthwork, drainage structures, storm drain pipe systems, channels, working over, under, near, and around existing private utilities, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, and landscaping and any associated work required by the Engineer. Other work may include structural foundation protection, storm water pipe lining, storm water pipe joint and structure repair, water and sewer (relocations, installations and adjustments). Storm Water maintenance work may be located entirely within or a combination of the street right-of-way, private, residential and commercial properties. See section 1.28 – Scope of Work for additional details and information.
Collective AH (6633 Brookfield Place, 524 Wilby Drive)
524 Wilby Drive: The culvert will be constructed with a headwall and endwall, with the junction box In between. The 24” plastic pipe will be replaced with 24” RCP.
6633 Brookfield Place: 30” RCP from JB 9 to DCB 8 to be replaced with a 36” RCP , and curb to be added along Alexander Road and standard catch basins to be constructed along the curb.
FY2025A Storm Drainage Repair and Improvement Various Locations
Work performed under this contract will consist of nine (9) stormwater improvement projects throughout Charlotte, NC as illustrated in the plans of the contract documents. This project will consist of approximately 3,600 linear feet of 15-inch and 2,400 linear feet of 12-inch gravity sanitary sewer piping. This outfall is tributary to the existing Rocky River outfall in Cabarrus County and Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County (WSACC) Rocky River Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant.
