Utility operations economic impact analysis
Charlotte Water is seeking an analysis of the economic impact/output of utility operations on the greater Charlotte regional economy. The target region for this study includes Mecklenburg County as well as the 7 counties adjacent to Mecklenburg County. These counties include Cabarrus, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, and Union counties in North Carolina, and Lancaster and York counties in South Carolina.
The general scope includes an economic impact/output study of Charlotte Water on the Charlotte regional economy including, but not limited to, Charlotte Water’s projected direct and indirect/induced and short-term and long-term impacts on the regional economy over the next 10-years. The impact study should include an analysis of the economic impact/output of Charlotte Water’s operating and capital expenditures and investments.
Concrete and Asphalt Cleaning Services
Charlotte Water is seeking Concrete & Asphalt Cleaning services, which may include roads, sidewalks, driveways, and other pavement structures throughout the Charlotte Water service area. The Company shall be available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, and able to respond to calls for service within two hours after receiving a call from the City.
Stone Hauling Services – CANCELLED
Charlotte Water will establish a contract for as-needed hauling, delivery, and other inherently related activities of crushed stone to Charlotte Water locations. All crushed stone and related items will be purchased from the City’s contracted crushed stone vendor (TBD).

Confined Space Entry Equipment
This Invitation to Bid (ITB) will seek a company to provide confined space entry equipment, with related services, such as equipment training to Charlotte Water staff, equipment repair services, fitting and tailoring services, inspections (annual and as-needed), inspection reporting, and written reports. Due to the length of repair time, the Company must be made available to pick up any equipment from the applicable Charlotte Water site that needs service within 24 hours of notice.
