The project scope includes the modifications to the arrangement of the gate counters at B concourse, gates B1-B4, and C concourse, gates C2-C5 & C7, to mitigate congestion at the north end of each concourse. The project also includes modifications required to existing partitions upon relocation of art walls, floor cores for power and data, and revised seating layouts.
Contractor shall furnish the necessary equipment, traffic control and labor to remove the existing west bound traffic gate and install a new gate per the approved Plans. The Owner (CATS) shall provide the existing cable, gate foundation and new crossing gate, with all appurtenances, to be installed.
Contractor shall:
A. Contractor shall submit a schedule and detailed workplan for approval prior to the start of work.
B. Contractor shall develop, and submit for approval, test procedures and test forms for the new gate and crossing prior to executing field work.
C. Set up approved traffic control to protect the crossing during the Work both vehicle traffic and pedestrian traffic..
D. Remove the existing gate and deliver it to the North Yard Maintenance Facility or other CATS property as directed.
E. Remove all, or a sufficient amount, of the gates’ foundation so as to replace the soil and sidewalk.
F. Contractor shall demolish the sidewalk and excavate for a new gate foundation per approved Plans. Existing conduit shall be intercepted and rerouted into the new foundation. Contractor shall provide the necessary conduit, sweeps, supports, couplings and glue. Existing cable shall be un-landed, tested and terminated for the new gate.
G. Contractor shall remove and install new ADA compliant Truncated Dome.
H. Contractor shall set the new foundation and gate, provided by the Owner, and adjust gate arm length, counterweights, arm lights and light directions per the approved Plans and MUTCD requirements.
I. Contractor shall test the new gate and crossing operation.
J. Contractor shall submit test results for review and approval.
PSR #1476
Scope of work will involve addressing the physical barriers identified in the City ADA Transition Plan for this facility. Areas include restrooms, water fountains, signage, handrails/guardrails, doors & hardware, reception area, exterior sidewalks, signage and parking striping.
This project consists of demolition of existing walls, ceiling tile, doors and frames, finishes, electrical, HVAC components, Existing. The new work Consists of repairing existing walls, installing new ceiling tiles, cleaning, refining, relocating existing HVAC grilles, installing new HVAC grilles, relocating existing lighting fixtures, providing new finishes.
This project includes stream stabilization and sewer repair at multiple locations within the sanitary sewer collection system. Stream stabilization structures shall be constructed to protect existing and proposed sanitary sewer infrastructure.
Project components include natural in-stream structures, plantings, site grading, sanitary sewer replacement, sheet pile installation, bypass pumping and sediment control measures. Site locations will be released during the contract duration.
The contract is expected to be for a two-year term with possible renewal.
This project includes upgrading the Beaverdam Creek Pump Station. Work will involve removing two sets of the existing two-stage pumps and installing four sets of two-stage pumps. Work also includes installing surge tanks and implementing interior modifications to the wet well to improve the hydraulics during self-cleaning operations.
The Project will build the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department’s Northwest Division on Mt Holly- Huntersville Road. The Project consists of a new 16,079 square foot, single story facility. The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Improvements to Mt Holly-Huntersville Road
- New driveway connections to Mt Holly-Huntersville Road, a visitor parking area and a gated/fenced in, staff/fleet parking area with underground piping to a storm water pond.
- An open air canopy for consisting of a pre-engineered, metal building structure with standing seam metal roof system.
- Electric Vehicle (EV) Service Equipment (EV charging station system).
- A ground mounted, 249kWh/year, 208V, 3-phase Photo-Voltaic (PV) solar array collector system.
- A Geothermal well field system with a packaged pump skid.
The Project is the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department’s Northwest Division The building site is located at 1800 Mt Holly-Huntersville Rd., Charlotte, NC 28214. The Project consists of a new 16,000 square foot, single story facility.
The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following:

b. New driveway connections to Mt Holly-Huntersville Road, a visitor parking area and a gated/fenced in, staff/fleet parking area with underground piping to a storm water pond.

This project will provide maintenance on the Mallard Creek Water Reclamation Facility’s potable and non-potable water systems. Work on this project will include repairs to valves, valve collars, hydrants, and the installation of an 8-inch non-potable water connection line. As part of the project, the existing non-potable water backflow preventer, associated accessories, and FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) enclosure.
