Blast Survey and Monitoring Services

​This Request for Proposal will establish contracts for Charlotte Water’s as-needed blast survey and monitoring services. Blasting is performed to remove rocks during construction, which may affect the surrounding structures’ integrity. Thus, surveys and monitoring must be performed.

Coffee Service Solution

Charlotte Water will seek a multi-year turn-key coffee service solution for its breakrooms in each applicable facility. The selected company will provide rental equipment (bean-to-cup and pod coffee makers), maintenance and repairs of the equipment, their full product selection, and related services such as refilling the equipment.

Franklin Water Treatment Plant Building Renovation-CANCELLED

The proposed project will fund renovation of Franklin Water Treatment Plant Main Building. It provides 85% of the potable water produced and is need of major renovations such as HVAC, plumbing, process lab, building offices and parts storage for water treatment. Major architectural renovations such as curtainwall and windows are included. Rearrangement of space for laboratories, parts storage, office space, and records storage.

CENTRIFUGE PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES-Mallard Creek WRF

Company to provide the city centrifuge preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and repair services for 2 (two) dewatering centrifuges and 2 (two) Thickening Centrifuges at the Mallard Creek WRF , Westfalia and Humboldt Dewatering Centirfuge and Humboldt Thickening Centrifuge. In addition to Preventive Maintenance, the selected Company will need to provide predictive maintenance service.

Franklin Water Treatment Plant Clearwell Improvements

Charlotte Water is requesting bids for construction of the Franklin Water Treatment Plant Clearwell project. This project includes installation of large diameter (72 to 120 inch) pipes, valves, and fittings. It also includes constructing a new chemical feed system, including a new building, pumps, storage silos, and chemical piping.

Professional Engineering Services for Pipeline Rehabilitation and Construction Inspection Services

Charlotte Water is soliciting Statement of Qualifications from a qualified engineering firm to provide survey, design, contract administration, and construction management (if necessary) of multiple pipeline replacement projects and other General Services as requested by the City. All work will be located within the Charlotte Water service area. The projects will be assigned to the Engineer during the course of the contract period as they become available. Projects may vary in size, length and scope, and are to be completed according to the individual project schedule.

Water Testing Devices

The scope of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish a contract for the purchase, delivery, and other inherently related activities to procure water testing devices on an as needed basis for Charlotte Water. These devices will be replacing existing devices throughout Charlotte Water Field Operations.

Field Operations Pipeline Rehabilitation Construction-CANCELLED

This bid package is a collection of projects to increase potable water system reliability and replace aging infrastructure. Work consists of approximately 15,000 linear feet of potable water line construction for 2, 6, 8-inch pipe, and associated repair or replacement of asphalt pavement, concrete sidewalk, curb ramps, curb & gutter, and minor lawn/landscape restoration, primarily within CDOT and NCDOT right-of-way.
