Bridge Repairs

This project involves repairing bridge structures in various locations within the city limits. This work shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to repair noted structures. Work includes but not limited to: concrete pavement repairs, asphalt surface sealing / repair / replacement, debris removal, soil / erosion repairs, bridge substructure / superstructure repairs, expansion joint repair / replacement, barrier rail repairs, guardrail repairs, cleaning and painting bridge structures, sealing concrete wearing surface, culvert repairs, and repairs as deemed necessary by the engineer; removing, containment and disposal of existing materials; seeding and mulching all grassed areas disturbed; all incidental items necessary to complete the project as specified and shown on the Bridge Structures Repair Details and Drawings.

Temporary Traffic Control Services

The objective of this RFP is to solicit Proposals that will enable the City to determine which Company(s) and Proposed Solution(s) will best meet the City’s needs for the delivery and setup of traffic control devices in work zones and special event locations as well as the provision of flaggers and other personnel to maintain work zones. The services generally consist of as-needed temporary traffic control services including the rental of arrow signs and portable changeable message signs (PSMS) for scheduled and emergency infrastructure maintenance and for other events requiring the diversion of traffic, lane closures, or notice to the public.  This includes the placement and removal of traffic control devices by qualified personnel as well as the flagging of traffic.  This will include all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to safely route traffic through CDOT work zones or special event areas.

Consulting Services for the Comprehensive Transportation Plan Work Group

The City of Charlotte (City) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from firms/teams (Firms) to provide consulting services (Services) for the Comprehensive Transportation Plan Work Group (Project). The City is seeking firms whose combination of experience and expertise will provide timely, professional services to the City. The City reserves the right to enter into one or more contracts with any firm selected under this RFQ process.

ALL-ELECTRIC CLASS 8 DAY CAB TRACTOR

The scope of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish a contract for the purchase and delivery of an All-Electric Class 8 Day Cab Tractor and other inherently related activities involved in the purchase and delivery of the product and services and in compliance with the specifications and terms and conditions set forth in this ITB. All products and component parts furnished under the Contract shall be new, shall comply with the specifications and terms and conditions set forth in this ITB, and shall operate in full compliance with these Specifications.

Aluminum Sheeting and Sign Posts

The Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT) uses aluminum sheeting for the fabrication of traffic signs. Sign posts are used to mount aluminum traffic signs. The City seeks one or more vendors to establish a contract(s) for an initial term of three (3) years with two (2) one-year renewals.

Traffic Signal Components, Cabinets and Risers

The Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT) is seeking one or more  companies to provide various traffic signal components including pedestrian signal parts, traffic signal controllers, cabinets and cabinet risers and blank out signs.

Asphalt Traffic Calming Device Installation

This project involves building asphalt speed cushions, asphalt speed tables, and the rebuilding existing speed humps that have worn down over time throughout the City. The project includes traffic control, pavement milling, bituminous surface treatment, and pavement markings.  This project will be assigned by task orders.

Mallard Creek Road Intelligent Transportation System Project

The Mallard Creek Road ITS Project includes the installation of approximately 0.65 miles of fiber optic cable in new directionally bored and trenched conduit and aerial attachments to wood utility poles. This project includes the installation of 1 owner furnished traffic management camera. This project also includes fiber splicing and testing. The project limits are from Medical Plaza to Governor Hunt Drive in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, NC.
