The selected Firm(s) will provide materials testing and special inspection services (“Services”) for various federal and nonfederal funded projects initiated by Charlotte Douglas International Airport (“CLT”) via an on-call basis. CLT will assign Services to the Firm through individual Task Order Documents.
Firms shall conduct general materials testing tasks in accordance with industry accepted standards and practices as well as the requirements of CLT, the Federal Aviation Administration, North Carolina Department of Transportation and City of Charlotte standards. Examples of Federal Aviation Administration standards include but are not limited to P-401/403 (Asphalt) and P-501 (Concrete). Materials testing will be to independently verify site/material conditions to allow work to proceed with confidence. Materials testing services may also include construction observation, report writing and quantity measurements.
Provide snow removal in the bus lanes located in Long Term 1 and 2 parking lots, Daily North parking lot, and employee 1 and 4 parking lots. The contractor will use a skid steer type piece of equipment with a snow-plow blade. The bus lanes will be plowed keeping them free from of snow and ice,
The airport currently manages a contract in which at least one (1) working dog and handler patrol five (5) airport owned sites three (3) times a week at random with option for additional on-call services if necessary. Dog and handler are tasked with dispersing birds (with an emphasis on large birds hazardous to safe aircraft operations, including, but not limited to, waterfowl and wading birds) from each site.
CLT is looking for a flexible solution with a vendor offering working dog and handler services for wildlife/bird management but on a non-scheduled/as needed/on-call basis. The airport will be responsible for contacting the vendor when services are needed and arranging scope in terms of location of work and duration needed. Vendor will need to respond and provide services within 24 hours of contact unless agreed upon otherwise. Work may be conducted on a busy airfield environment, therefore CLT requires prospective vendors must have prior experience working on an airport environment.
The scope of this contract shall be to provide Terrazzo Maintenance Services at various locations on the airport’s property. The services include, but are not limited to, labor, supervision, materials, equipment, chemicals, supplies, and incidentals for complete terrazzo maintenance services at the following locations on airport property: CLT Airport Main Terminal, the Old Terminal, and Express Deck 1. All work is to be performed between 9:30 PM – 5:30 AM, 7 days a week.
To create and maintain an appearance of a “world-class facility” by daily maintenance and cleaning of an estimated 500,000 square feet of Terrazzo flooring to provide a functional and safe experience for 51 million plus annual passengers.
The interior renovation within the CLT Center (Operations Center) to include new office space for a tech help suite, conference room, video editing room, and cell phone tech office. The project consists of approximately 2,500 sf and will be built in two (2) phases.
The scope of the proposed contract shall be to provide offsite composting services for the Airport (CLT).
Pursuant to this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”), Charlotte Douglas International Airport (“CLT” or “Airport”), which is owned and operated by the City of Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking statement of qualifications (“SOQ”) from qualified and experienced firms (individually or collectively, the “Firm”) interested in providing design, construction administration, and environmental monitoring services for the Coffee Creek Environmental Mitigation Project
Charlotte Douglas International Airport (“CLT” or “Airport”), which is owned and operated by the City of Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking statement of qualifications (“SOQ”) from qualified and experienced firms (individually or collectively, the “Firm”) interested in providing professional consulting services toward the completion and implementation of CLT’s Safety Management System (SMS), an organization-wide approach to managing safety risk and assuring the effectiveness of safety risk controls. The initial phase of research and development will support and enable the second phase of implementation of CLT’s SMS program (“The Program”). The Program shall comply with the concepts and attributes described in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circular 150/5200-37A dated February 16, 2023. The successful proposer will evaluate CLT’s draft SMS implementation plan, as well as all Notices of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM), Supplemental Notices of Proposed Rule Making (SNPRM), the revisions to US Code of Federal Regulations, Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 139 and the Final Ruling issued by the FAA requiring Part 139 certificated airports to implement and maintain an airport SMS program (the “Work”). CLT further desires that the selected Firm(s) be available to provide Safety Risk Management (SRM) facilitation support, a key component of the Program.
The contract(s) will be in effect for a period of three (3) years, with the potential for two (2) additional one (1) year renewal opportunities.
The Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) manages a Public Address (PA) System, comprised of AtlasIED hardware and software, to provide audible messages for regulatory requirements and flight information. The current PA system provides messaging throughout the CLT main terminal that includes a ticket lobby, baggage claim, atrium, food court, and 5 concourses for a total of 115 gates. The CLT terminal building PA System provides messaging to the entire terminal building, specific zones, or gate holding areas for passengers. Scheduled messages and live paging are managed by AtlasIED controllers and GCK software. PA System equipment is connected via TCP/IP network infrastructure managed by the CLT Technology Team. All AtlasIED equipment currently in use at CLT supports COBRANET audio format.
The term of the Contract shall be for three (3) years with two (2) optional one-year.
